Beta Turbo49's Gambler Pack 0.1

More-or-less wacky configs with more-or-less performance

  1. Turbo49>
This is my entry for the Gambler 500 Modding Contest, featuring 3 configs (for now), many custom parts and lore.

    - The Funburst
    screenshot_2023-06-19_10-25-37.png
Based off a Sport S, this sunburst boasts a slanted i4 that, while suffering from minor oil starvation issues, looks cool, lowers the center of mass and protects the intercooler. The suspension has been lifted and reinforced to allow it to land crazy jumps, thanks to its massive tires and tuned engine. A half rollcage secures you and a spare, and the rear wing has been put to good use. The rally-inspired livery will let you pick up trash in style.

    - Forklift Certified Pessima
    screenshot_2023-06-19_10-27-39.png

Based off a 1.8 DX, this car started off as an experiment to get a new pessima to have AWS, like a special version of its predecessor. To achieve this, the rear suspension was replaced with a front one, with linked steering thanks to a driveshaft going through the exhaust crease. This also allowed the addition of AWD thanks to another driveshaft and a few cuts to the frame. The massively improved turning radius inspired the builder to add a forklift in place of the front bumper, and so he did. He wired it up to the warnings (so press the warnings button to lift it, by default "?") and managed to get it half working. Complete with a pallet strapped to the roof, it can pick up more trash than any other car here.

    - The Pressima
    screenshot_2023-06-19_10-28-47.png
This pessima started off as a police car, but the same guy behind the forklift certified one used the same technique of swapping the rear suspension to add AWD to this machine, but this time without AWS to create a drivable rally car. A few engine upgrades allow it to go fairly quickly around dirt paths, and the spotlights allow it to see through the darkest nights.

I still have time before the deadline, so suggest things in the discussion thread !

Its awesome but we need a stronger forklift plus some counterweight addons other than the roof rack

The forklift is weak on purpose since it's a hackjob, and there is already a counterweight in the form of pipes in place of the rear bumper
