light weight fun driving car.

I like small engine because it could dramatically decrease car weight. however, small engine normally generate tiny power.

    But! Not this time. (°∀°)

This car is very good for the track, i did a 1:30 on Automation Test Track without much effort. It has great cornering speed on low and high speed, and it has a good balance, the rear end feels planted, despite the low weight and high power RWD setup. It can do a 0-100kmh in 2.1 seconds on regular tarmac, which is impressive.

ESC is a good addition to this car, it makes it really easy to drive if you are not used to RWD, but anyway you don't need it because car is easy to drive without it. My only complaint is lack of ABS, which is weird since the car has ESC. But no big deal. 5 stars.

      Thanks. :D

I removed DSE file that cause some issue like "no ABS"...i will find a way to add that in future.

    Hi!

First, I would like to explain why I am intrigued by your car. It almost looks like the 1995 generation of my EMG S560/R-One! They use the same body type, the design has many similarities, and the philosophy is the same: mid 6-cylinder engine, light weight, designed to be RWD…and I think this is really cool :P

Anyway, for me, your car already deserves a solid 5 stars, there is a lot of cool things, but I see some possible improvements too.
First, the design of your car: I really like it, it’s a cool looking car! But I think you should add some details: windscreen wipers, some lettering, license plates (especially between the taillights), and I don’t see a fuel trap too, but maybe I am wrong.

For the handling of your car, i just want to say one thing… Nice job! It’s really fun to drive it with my steering wheel in the RWD configuration, and the AWD configuration is easy to handle with a gamepad. I think the suspension tuning is really good, they are definitively not soft, but they are not too hard too. By the way, I have a question: have you edited the tires setting to get this insane grip? Last thing, I think an ESC system could be a nice addition to your car. Personally, I don’t care, I almost always drive without it, but some people like to have it ;)

Now, the engine… to be honest, I don’t like extremely small engine, because of the awful torque curve they produce if you want some power. But I can understand your choice. However, I think you should still try with a bigger engine. For example, I am using a 1.9L 6-cylinder for my EMG S560, and I was able to get 350hp with a better torque curve, even if it still not perfect. And for the R-One, which is the race variant of the S560 and which use the same 1.9L engine (but producing 530hp this time), I was able to get a weight of 700kg.

To end this review, I would like to talk about my favorite thing on your car: the work on the sounds you have made! The gearbox whine, the BoV sound for the turbo, the idle sound of your engine, all of this gives life to your car! It was a really nice surprise when I first load your car! I think you should talk about it in the mod description, because, for me, it’s the main selling point of your car! The only missing sound is the suspension sound. If you want, send me a PM, I can explain you how to add it to your car ;)

    That’s all, nice work! :)

Thank you for the review. :D

To answer the tyre things, I did not edit tyre file this time but i edited suspension file with a lot test.

I agree that small engine isn't really good at low RPM but it's just a gear shift tactic choice that i made for driver. For exsample, keyboard driver can't control throttle like "pedal" so they can shift gear ealier to prevent power slide because that awful torque curve.

Another thing to mention, front tyre width is 245mm and rear one is 305mm. Those semi-slick tyres are too large for this weight...

Also i hide a wing in front hull because Lip and Spoiler part in Automation don't do anything when you port to BeamNG, only Wing part do generate downforce. So, instead of add more lip, i hide 1 wing to generate front downforce.

About suspension sound, I know how to do that. In fact, I learned all sound fx things from Sunburst file. XD

Thank you again for all suggestions. :D
