Experimental THR MUV/MUMV 1 1.0

V8 special prototypes

This time THR form Thomas Automobiles shows really something very special. First MUV vehicle was builded esspecialy for army and was not available for civilians but some soliders love it so much, that after many hard and long negotiations with the Government THR have permission to build very limited batch, fully street legal MUVM - Multi Utility Military Vehicle. But THR engineers they wouldn't be themselves if they didn't do something more. THR have permit only for military pick-up, so what they did? they build one more, MUMV based car, which was not a Pick-up but a Van. Very big VAN! Named MUV - Multi utility Vehicle. Why? Beacouse this car was specialized in so many ways as no other. He can be a Van, Off roader, Family bus and more. Enough big, with enough space and suspension height and ground clearance that can be used everywhere. And off course with the same as MUMV powerful V8 diesel! Yes! Engine is strongest point of both cars. Very big, powerful and with a huge torque but also verry efficient and economical. In 1970 who wants more?
There was only one problem, esspecialy with MUMV variant. Price. Beacouse MUMV acctualy was military, high quality and with many extra strng materials car it costs 74800$ Even today this is much! Now You know why THR builded a Van too. Van as only "military lineage" car was builded from much cheaper materials, not so high quality in some ways, but still very ood and can be yours for only 14000$. Cheaper as Thomas Gal super sport car, but also more practical.
Both cars have 4x4 drive type.
