Thomas Sugo I 1.0

Year 1965 was very imoprtant for Thomas Automobiles Co. because it was connected with the debut of first off road, 4 wheel drive car in history. So this year two things are completly new. Offroad car, which is unknown land and permanent 4 wheel drive system. of course, in the past there was a Bonan model with 4 whhel drive, but it was not fully constructed by Thomas engineers, just modernized drive taken from Ford pick up car. That guaranteed reliability and low costs.
Now it's different. Whole drive system is projected and builded by Thomas Automobiles. Also chassis was a big challenge. Now engineers must to build a real offroad chassis, not just adapted and strengthened standard system from street car.
Ofcourse Sugo is builded from the beggining as a offroader, that gives much more offroad skills and perfect control outside the regular streets.
First consignment was builded esspecially for military service. Sugo did very well from the beginning in military service, thats why management decided to release new car to regular sale in same year. And in the same year came one more new thing. First diesel engine in Thomas public sale car. This variant you recognize by the mark 75DSX. Is also more comfortable.
