3 year after THR LMT01 Concept debut in LeMans24h race Thomas Automobiles gives a special opportunity to feel same adrenaline shot as race driver on this special long distance race have. All of this thank to extremly sport car - Thomas Gal. Based on THR concept car was much better polished and adapted to public roads.
Base variant was equiped with V6 3.8 litre engine named LT-Reaper 6 and builded esspecially for this car, but it exist in weaker version, so it was not excluded that engine shows in other Thomas cars.
We named Thomas Gal BS225R Coupe as a base, not cheaper, because, for example, most expesive version of Thomas Trako III proce is 7420$ (in 1965), and Galbase price is 9860$ which is a lot more for this times. Also service costs are much higher - 1395,5$ for Trako III 200TR and 3650$ for base Gal type, so it's almost twice more.
Top variant - Thomas Gal BS365RC Coupe recived the same engine as THR concept car for LeMans race had. Of course a little modified for better economy and durability. But still needs many, many petrol - average over 30l/100km!
Price 15500$ and service costs over 4000$ effectively narrowed down the group that could buy it. Funny, but much higher price has nothing with performance. this variant was not so quite faster on track as base version but V12 engine give this extra prestige. Also traction and driving, stability and driving properties wad a little better as base variant.
But still, both Gal's neded a really good driver if they were to go really fast.
