Thomas Bese II 1.0

After huge success of first generation Bese, first van from Thomas Automobiles Co. producer decided to continue this model line. New Bese came more universal. not only as an adventure van/bus but also as a transporter, with somthing like pick-up body. It was still more like experiment, but after great success of first experiment engineers and management decided to follow thr first punch.
new bese get two engines from new family - BlueBox, builded also for facelifted Almaz II. Ofcourse, Bese don't get monstrous 140HP unit just smaller, cheaper 1.6 and 1.8ccm engines.
More important is, that new variant came in 1963, only 5 years after 1st generation thus he became the fastest modernized Thomas model.
