"The Spade" was a mid-spec written-off 1997 Boudica Motors Trition, it was sold as a rolling chassis, without an engine.



The current owner has made quite a few modifications to make the car into an "RZR(tm) at home". This includes: Offroad tyers, a lift kit, cut down body panels, a bullbar, snorkel, rear wing, "custom" rear "bumper" and enough lightening to make even a Lotus engineer blush.



Despite having FWD and an open differential the car is quite at home speeding through sand and mud, but is prone to wheelspin due to excessive lightening and roughly 140hp coming from a 2.0l NA i4 under the bonnet.

I might make the Trition into a "full" mod (with automation) including this and normal variants (Base model, Sport model, ect...).

I don't really expect this car, or anything I can make currently, to win the challenge, but it's worth a shot.​
