I am only giving this 3 stars because yes, this is an amazing concept and idea, but as someone who has a gaming shifter that has an actual ranger and splitter on it, I will say that this does not follow a real semi truck transmission shift pattern. Look up the medallion for an 18 or 13 speed and you'll see what I mean. Yes the the T series is a 12 speed, but IRL the truck would most likely have a super 10 or a 13 speed. All I ask is that you at least research a way to make this in a real shift pattern. If you would like the link to the shifter I use, just reply to this comment. (or DM me idc) Best of luck to you and your modding career and keep on truckin!
I have a question. Does the transmission has to show up in the part selector? In that case, it doesn't work for me. Any suggestion?
For now, I've highly rated this recource just for the (fantastic) idea :)
Very nice mod, I've wanted a nice solution to the 12 speed shifting. There is one problem, this mod is disabling the other vehicle specific controls for the t-series. I also noticed that when you're using the high range, it briefly goes into the lower range gear before going into the correct one, so I have to wait a little longer on the clutch. I understand the gears thing may be unavoidable on your end, and it isn't much of a problem
