I based this thing on the T-180 Mach 6 from the 2008 live-action Speed Racer movie. I made this thing as a sequel to my Mach 5 mod to see how far I could push the limits of Automation and BeamNG, and I got pretty close to that limit. The T-180 Mach 6 is supposedly at the pinnacle of the pinnacle of racing and it definitely shows in-game.

Performance

Supposedly the T-180 Mach 6 is powered by something called a Single-Forge Bernoulli Convergenator with the only reference photo being the one you see above. Being that I don't have access to one of these bad boys in Automation, I settled for a V-12 to take its place, being that it is naturally balanced, it sounds similar at mid to high RPMs, and it's capable of making a ton of horsepower with limited space. This incredible V-12 engine is a variant of the Mach 5's secret engine which pushes out a monstrous 2650HP at 1170 RPM and 1300 lb/ft of torque at 9000 RPM. That's 650HP and 400 lb/ft more than the Mach 5. This allowed it to absolutely destroy the Mach 5's Automation track record of 1:40.46 by more than 10 seconds at a whopping 1:30.39. Its top speed is limited to 300mph (26mph less than Mach 5) due to the insane amount of downforce at top speed which is roughly 5340 lbs.
However, all this extra power comes with a cost, that cost being crippling cooling issues (worse than that of the Mach 5), lots of wheelspin, and horrendous gas mileage.
Design
![]()
The design was definitely one of the hardest parts of making this thing a "virtual" reality. The original body of the car was a mod I downloaded based on an early 60's Formula 1 race car, basically just a tube, so everything you see that is 1 ft out from the center of the car was hand-placed and adjusted. It's a little lumpy looking but that's fine, just don't look into the engine bay. Also, the wheels are in need of a little TLC, ignore the brakes sticking out, that will be fixed later on. It has a wonderfully designed interior which will be updated to have MORE STUFF later on.
Other things.
-The car has a 7-speed transmission which I failed to mention in the first part.
-The brakes may seem pretty sucky but are actually the best they could be for a car that weighs less than 1600 lbs.
-It corners at 1.61G's at low speeds (60mph) and 2.24G's at high speeds (160-170 mph).
-It does 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and 60-100 in 0.7sec
-The engine performs best at 200mph in 7th gear
-AWD (29% F, 71% R)
Other (bad) things.
-The car can only run at max rpm for under 3 minutes
-Has a drag coefficient of 1.25
-Cannot outrun Mach 5 at top speed (mainly due to immense drag)
-Nearly bottoms out at top speed (cutting it close)
-Likes catching on fire (you can edit it in game to fix this)
-Wheelspin makes it hard to control (feather it)
-Imperfect weight distribution (41 F/ 59 R)
-Suspension might snap due to immense forces (happened a couple times during testing)
BUGS
SUSPENSION ISSUES!! BOUNCINESS. When first loading up the car the suspension is very bouncy and behaves like there are no shocks whatsoever. This makes the car very undrivable. To Identify this bounciness, check to see if the rear is oscillating. If it is, simply reset the vehicle, and the issue should be fixed. (I don't know why this happens, it just does)
This car is far from perfect and it shows, but, one must keep in mind that a Work-In-Progress is always due for improvement. This car allowed me to push the limits of Automation and BeamNG and the end result was basically a Formula 1 car that has been taking whey and steroids every day since the 90s. One cannot simply just jump in and go, it requires finesse and patience to tame this beast (not exaggerating, this thing takes some practice). Hopefully, whoever sees this mod and downloads it has fun. Future updates will come and all opinions are appreciated.
