good mod but as a owner of a 2003 Chrysler PT cruiser GT Turbo it seems an alright mod i wish it had the sportier automatic (41te W/ auto stick) and the Mitsubishi tdlr04lr that the GTs had along with the iconic wing that the GTs were offered with and the lookalike carbon fiber dash panels (as you you can tell I'm trying to recreate my car in beam) if you want proof TikTok Snowball_GT2.4 also no hate its awesome that you made this i love these cars cheap power if you don't want to buy a 10k srt4

Man, don't take ppl seriously who gave 3-4 stars. They don't even know how to make a mod. This is one of the best mods in this game.
-
A_Bac0n_WarrI0rVersion: 1.2- 4/5,
Just what we needed. Unfortunately, 4 stars because the tachometer is not reading correctly compared to the in-game UI.

livxvaldVersion: 1.2- 5/5,
The mod is cool, but I think it needs more variety. For example, the original has a convertible version, and if possible, it would be great to include aftermarket parts.

The CatsterVersion: 1.2- 5/5,
brilliant mod, something i didnt know i needed (although some custom rims would be nice)

crashmasterVersion: 1.2- 5/5,
im so happy to see a proper pt cruiser in beamng
thank you so much for taking the time to make this car
you are awesome!
keep up the good work <3 -

very much like it but the could be improvements in the interior and you jbeam could be improved over all its a nice car but just need more detail

Axolot_Version: 1.1- 5/5,
I absolutely adore this mod!!! Don't listen to the people who say its "horrendous" and "low quality", ITS IN BETA its not supposed to be perfect!!! There's NO WAY anyone who is giving you bad reviews could make anything half as good!!!
Even if the interior / jbeam could use some work, its not a bad mod!! Just a bit 'unpolished' I would say and people giving bad reviews with dont matter if they don't give any help with fixing it!
The only real bad point I can see is the interior camera is a bit high but im sure you'll be able to easily fix that -
MeepmodzVersion: 1.1- 5/5,
Hey man, is it possible if you can make a grill and fenders pack where the front can look like the real pt cruiser? I really love the mod! i just think this mod looks like a mini cooper with the front end.
-
Vibestation 5Version: 1.1- 5/5,
Impressive for your first mod, Looking forward to seeing what else you make. I agree with the bugs that have been reviewed, but i hope you can fix them, it has really good potential.

Nice mod! The interior does look a little off though. You should add convertible configurations.

bombardierVersion: 1.1- 2/5,
This mod shows a lot of promise, but the execution is a bit poor. Maybe it got rushed to release, but if it were me, I wouldn't release it like this.
The design itself is ok, the PT Cruiser is one of those cars that you can't really 'lore-friendly'-fy without it looking like anything else but a PT Cruiser. I wish some of the stuff in the interior like the gauges and the clock got a bit more polygons, because they do look a bit jagged. Also, this might've been an oversight, but please add a third pedal for manual cars and an automatic selector for autos.
The glaring problems come when you look at the jbeam and what this car is made out of, which is mostly just LeGran parts tacked on together with no regard for what this car actually is. It's not a problem that it's a meshslap, after all, in my own opinion, BeamNG devs are giving us most of the tools and examples to make our own cars for the game with little effort regarding chassis design and suspension calculation.
There are some big issues with this mod's jbeam, starting with the fact that it spawns with 30-40 beams already deformed, all the panels wobbling and also the front wheels, probably because of the suspension. When you open the hatch, 16 beams get broken for some reason. The doors don't open all the way.
The core support for the radiator is way too thick in my opinion, but I've never really seen a PT Cruiser with the hood open, so feel free to correct me on this.
Also, please make your axles narrower, you have like -0.1 offset on all configs and it looks goofy if you try and fit wider wheels. Also regarding wheels, I saw one config where the rear tires had a way bigger profile than the fronts. On a FWD car. That might be also an oversight, but still.
Let's get on with the powertrain: the engines are really weak for the weight of this car, even the 1.6 PT Cruiser from real life has 116 horsepower. The 2.2 in this, which is supposed to be found in the "hot" variant can't even break past the 130 hp mark in stock form. I know we're supposed to laugh at the "ha ha, look, the americans can only build big archaic V8 muscle cars" stereotype, but Mopar did (and still does) have some good 4-bangers. Transmission choices are awful and don't help the engines at all. Please remove the 4-speed manual and the 3 speed automatic.
I honestly think that if you spent 2-3 extra months on this, it would've been perfect! Your heart is in the right place, this has the potential to be a really fun mod but it still needs polishing.-
Author's ResponseThanks for the advice, mind messaging me to help with the mechanical side of things? I could use some help with that, especially some of the jbeam debuging on the tailgate. Also it would be nice to get a little help. Thanks again bro, lwk needed some actual advice and not mindless glazing.

Geniuenly such a waste, everything Reece has said is true, but not only that but the rear brakes are off center with the hub of the wheel, the J-beam is horrendeous, and the model while pretty detailed and good looking, everything else about it is just horrendeous.
All the engines are wrong, the GT Config has a 4 speed manual, no turbochargers, the doors barely open, the rear hatch doesn't open at all for me, this thing is not even close to ready for release, I think the only mod that is worse than this on the repo is that MK3 Golf mod that looks like it was modelled by someone who's never seen a MK3, but even that is more functional and mechanically correct than this tragedy, so close to actually being a decent mod that it's almost sad.-
Author's ResponseSorry u feel that way I guess bro, ts not that deep though, as it is a fictional vehicle. Hope I can improve it in the future for everyone though!
Oh could you message me abt the hatch not opening? I cant recreate it on my end.

Reece CoatesVersion: 1.1- 2/5,
All these glaze reviews are not deserved.
This mod is a mess in several ways.
No fender liners
Driving position is godawful
No clutch pedal
No parking brake
Severely underpowered, the sport trim doesn't even match the minimum horsepower of the real life counterpart.
Based on a platform that is far too old for this car.
Crash/radiator support is easily visible behind grille and is an eyesore
Trunk sometimes doesn't close, hood opens on it's own.
Ignition chime audible outside of vehicle
Engine should be SOHC/DOHC-
Author's ResponseI would take that advice, but your only mods are in automation lmao :wilted_rose:

Finally, a lore-friendly PT Cruiser! This is exactly what I was looking for. (Suggestion: would it be possible to add a beater config in a future update?)
-
Author's ResponseThere is a beater config….
-
Justy4WDTURBOVersion: 1.1- 4/5,
Cool mod, desperately needs some streamlining in parts though. (why does a car from the late 90s have a 4-speed manual or 3-speed auto?)
Also, is that 'Wakefield' name a MLaaTR reference? -
Captain PakistanVersion: 1.1- 5/5,
A well modeled, LORE FRIENDLY, **SOLIAD** car mod, that is NEARLY COMPLETELY ISSUE FREE on launch, AND has simple traffic? Easy five stars. I wish I could give you six.
