Is there such a thing as too much downforce?
The SKY Conqueror is a small track-only vehicle designed for use on short race tracks with tight turns. It is powered by a detuned Formula 1 1.6-liter turbo V6 engine, which revs to 12,000 RPM and produces 650 horsepower at 10,000 RPM. The drivetrain uses a 6-speed manual transmission with all wheel drive.
As it is designed for use on short tracks, the gearing is designed to allow rapid acceleration, at the cost of top speed.
It weighs 1,673 pounds, and according to Automation, it produces over 2,700 pounds of downforce at 110mph
