underrated

so after i got this to work (not that my computer is bad) the ai traffic is REALLY terrible, I could be driving and somebody is just going 0 mph and not even moving which ruins the realism, and the ai traffic gets stuck on the littlest things and multiple trucks have flipped over and crashed trying to get around a bend/curve. I'm using no mods except for this and its not doing a good first impression.

optimised with the bootyhole, no lod, overly high poly assets (the balloon sculptures)

Thanks for removing all of the ads. Some people may find this unoptimized, but it runs fine on my specified Alienware-Dell setup.

This map is beautiful and works well for me.
On my laptop : I5 12500h, 32go Ram, 4060 8go I run this map between 95 and 105 fps in high/Ultra settings. so perfect.

Three points, three stars less:

-There are ads everywhere with vehicles that don’t fit the BeamNG theme (Audi, Skoda, ... ).

-The optimization is horrible; there is no LOD system, and my GPU usage can jump from 100W to 200W.

-Some parts of the map are boring (dirt tracks that are completely flat, small hills you can climb but with nothing at the top).

It’s a shame, because the overall map density is pretty good.

Okay, first off the optimization - horrible
First time playing it my PC froze for 5 minutes [Midrange PC but 16GB DDR4] After that i checked the poly count, 14M? Are we actually for real? The Ballon dog model is so unoptimized, i dont know how to even describe it. This small of a map with that bad of an optimization is just bad, can't play it

It is decently hard, If you fall off you can enjoy a good crash, Fine enough length, And you can yeet your car off a ramp at the end!

Not much lag spikes when playing.

I don't mine the adds. didn't see much of them, plus it is free.

All and all good map after all the updates. Doesn't deserve the hate at all!

I don't get the hate, this is a neat little map, done completely for free with the support of a company, I think using beamng as an advertising/sponsorship platform is a pretty good idea, and, if you don't like the sponsored content, there's nothing stopping you from just playing on other maps :P

Submitting a new rating as promised as my initial review was with the contained ads.

New update much better with much less in your face advertising. It still exists, but only really as a part on the default spawn and also on the racetrack area - which, in fairness, is somewhere you would expect advertising. There is also a SIXT branded building, but in general the map is nowhere near as bad with product placement as it was previously.

I still disagree with corporate advertising in the official repo, but given the community response to this I hope it is a clear message to any companies hoping to do the same in future.

As for the map itself, it is not huge but is a decent enough size with a nice variation of different terrains and activities. The optimisation is not the best, at the cost of FPS, but far from unplayable. The quality itself is nice and things fit together nicely

LOL The absolute hate. The map looks amazing. The fact that there are adds who cares. The map is free, it does not ask you to do anything, you don't have to sign up for anything, IT'S FREE. If a company helped pay to have a map made with their name or not so what. We got a cool map out of it and all we have to do is look at a few adds.

its better now. i rate it a mazda cx-30 or equivalent out of 10

After all the updates, it's actually alright. Now it's just your average spealer map with very vague FH3 vibes.

Great that they removed the ads, but the optimization is pretty bad. Driving around for a little bit, it runs fine but FPS starts dropping like crazy after a little bit (with no tire smoke)

Great map + they listened to what people said, and removed the ads (which for me wasn't that big of a problem)

Excellent map, one of my favorites, it reminds me of Miami in some areas and Dubai in others. I don't know if Sixt was your sponsor but if it was, it is a good idea to get money for your great work, and I don't mind about the ads.

Cool map, don't care for the advertisements but they are easy enough to ignore. My biggest issue is that it is LITERALLY unplayable for me. Every time there is ANY amount of tire smoke the game drops to about 3fps until the tires stop spinning. I dont usually have any trouble with the game (6900xt/7800x3d) and this map runs fine otherwise.
