    FOUR VERY IMPORTANT NOTICES:
    1.)
    Please remember to restart the game after updating / installing / disabling this mod.
    2.) If this is your first time installing the mod, add it to your UI with Alt+Shift+U.
    3.) If you are updating this mod from an older version, y
    ou will also need to remove the old app from your UI and re-add the new one.
    4.) Whenever the game itself is updated, you will have to re-add the app to the UI (Alt+Shift+U).


    This mod adds a minimalistic fuel consumption indicator to your game. It shows total volume in your car's tank, current volume remaining, percent of fuel remaining, average consumption rate, and range, all only using two lines of text!

    Example of how it works in plaintext:

    *example car has 50 percent of its 10 gallon tank remaining. The driver is cruising at a normal pace.*

    Fuel: 5.00 gal / 10.00 gal (50.00%)
    Range / AVG: 100.00 mi / 20.00 MPG

    KEY FEATURES:
    • Accurate statistic that updates once every second
    • Small and compact display
    • Works with all units, be them imperial or metric
    • Works on all vehicles, including mods
    • Very small file size (<74 kilobytes)
    • Displays potential fuel tank damage and leaks

    Note: This mod is currently in beta because it could react differently on different systems or not work at all. Every computer environment is different. It should work fine, but the mod remains in beta as a precaution. It is a work in progress and I am, as I said, open to *kind* suggestions. If you do not provide details as to what may have gone wrong, I can't help you. As always, if you run into problems with mods, try disabling your other mods and check to see if that solves the problem. If time passes and no suggestions are made, no fixes are needed, AND the mod is well accepted by the community, I will change the mod to full release status.

    Disclaimer: This mod is based on the "TRIP STATISTICS" UI app provided by BeamNG in the base game, and rearranges the information and javascript code of that app to all be present in one simple view. I AM IN NO WAY ATTEMPTING TO CLAIM BEAMNG'S ORIGINAL CODE AS MY OWN. BeamNG has all rights to their code, and this is simply a customized variant of it.

    Since you don't have forum thread I'll write it here., it does not let me place it, I get the same mouse icon as If i had it already placed. It does not mix it with trip computer, I don't know what it mixes it with but I can't use it at all, can you somehow give it a separate ID or something?

      Hey, I just figured it out. The app is incompatible with the "Simple Engine Debug" app since it uses a portion of its code. I fixed the code and the update is pending! In the meantime you can disable the simple engine debug app and verify that fixes the problem.

    Very nice. Would it be possible to add a "gallons per hour" readout when not moving? I'm curious how zero my zero MPG is.

      This is already included. Changing your in game units to metric in the user interface options screen should automatically change the units on the display. This is shown in the above demonstration video if you need help.

      Thanks for reviewing! It already has average fuel consumption. The second number on the second line is the average fuel consumption rate for the trip!
