Congratulations on the project.

True to an IRL automated manual transmission - Can't figure out what's happening, does wonky things, slow, unpredictable, unmanagable up hills, only works when hammering it.

Seriously the idea is great, but on the Percheron, it just plain does not work properly.
Also, mimicing the Segra's non standard transmission controls (using A1 / first gear instead of D / second gear, or using second gear for reverse gear instand of uhhh.... The reverse gear), is, i believe, a poor decision. It's confusing for players who never used the Segra, serves no purpose whatsoever as you could map it like every other car while retaining the Gear display if that's the main idea behind the change.

Works very good for the Segra, insane! But it's kinda iffy with the Cherrier Percheron, you can't get up some basic hills with it, the transmission doesn't react...

Also launching it on hills is terrible with the Percheron. It will upshift automatically even in M and then you are standing again.

Vibe Coded Slop... It is 10 times worse then the default transmission
