After 5 Years of on/off development port work its probably about time i post this.
In the late 1960s Japanese automaker "Satsuma" had a group of bored engineers they had poached from another company "Nishino".
They had experimented with gearboxes, resulting in an (almost) unique "under-sump" gearbox able to transmit power to the front wheels in a very small unit. Using an existing engine they had licensed from the English.
Now all they needed is a small car to make most of it.
The Satsuma 1000AMP
On launch featuring a 1.0L 44hp engine, demand for more power gave way to the 1200 several months later with another 10hp + 200cc displacement
In limited numbers a 1400GL with additional trim & healthy 69hp was sold

- Heavier than IRL counterpart by approx 100kg
- Not the most stable jbeam on earth
- Estate skins aren't amazing, UVs aren't my specialty, neither is texturework
- Something is off with the engine mounts / front suspension, will oil starve if it wheelspins while stationary >5 seconds
- Trunk hinge particularly resistant to closing, requires a lot of force, able to push car forwards if spammed
- Rear suspension with grippy tires prone to axlehop with handbrake
- Certain wheel/tire combos will make the FFB rattle at high speed (>180km/h)
