Beta Roof Cameras (Vanilla Cars) 1.0

This mod does exactly what it says on the tin. It adds a roof camera to most vanilla cars.

For comparison, here is the Cherrier Vivace using both the vanilla hood camera and my roof camera:





The camera makes much more of the road visible, meaning it can make it easier to drive compared to the hood view.

Installation

To install this mod, just download it as usual from the repository - either via the website or in-game.

Once the mod is installed, select a vehicle and go to the "Additional Modification" slot in the configurator. Here, you should find "Roof Camera".

It will then be added to the camera cycle in-game.

Incompatible Vehicles

The following vehicles are NOT compatible with this mod, due to either not having a roof, awkward camera positioning, or the hood view already being a roof camera:

FPU Wydra - This vehicle doesn't have a roof.

Gavril T-Series - This vehicle is too tall for the roof camera to really work. Whilst trying to get this mod working, a lot of the road was blocked by the front end of the vehicle.

SP Dunekicker & SP Rockbasher - These vehicles both have lightbars, which I found would often clip into the camera. The only solution would've been to move the camera forward a considerable amount, which felt quite awkward when driving.

Wentward DT40L - Similar to the T-Series, the camera was too high when on the roof of the vehicle.
