I've noticed recently that there is a very limited mod base for sounds, and the original game is no audio masterpiece in itself (no offense to the great devs behind all of this, visuals should come first!). The one or two crash sounds I've found on the site sound tinny and unrealistic, despite claiming they do. This crash effect has wrenching metal like in a real car crash, and actually makes it sound as though something within your car has snapped.
