Beta Paz Olez 1.0

This Paz Olez was made in 1978. The designers at the Slovak car company called Paz wanted to make a car that would appeal to the American car market so they went on making the Paz Olez. It was a big 4 door front wheel drive car with slick styling. It was a big V6 engine making 164 HP. It was loaded with all sorts of option like electric door locks electric windows leather and heated front seats powered front seats electric sunroof air conditioning radio and powered mirrors. It also had hydropneumatic suspention and power steering. The body and engine were made out of Aluminum. The transmission was a Automatic 4 speed. But since the engine was so heavy at the front it did have some understeer and the price was expensive costing 18,700. But you might be thinking this very cool luxury car is reliable right. That's were your wrong this car was very unreliable while it broke constantly and had very poor electrics and had poor crash result rating. Due to these the car did not sell well in America and it did not sell well in Europe as well were some were sold there too. Due to these issue Paz discontinued the car in 1979. They managed to produce 200,000 Units but only sold 70,000 world wide the rest were scrapped.
