Mizaki Murayama Lucent JDM 2.0

Back in late 80s, the Mizaki was challenging the Keiso Sapturn, the BXR Pares and the italian Lanterna Corona with a brilliant compact platform: the Murayama. Was avalaible in a wide range of bodies, including 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 3 and 5-door hatchback and 5-door notchback.

The Japanese Domestic Market, as well as the Eastern Asia Market, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Philippines required a slightly different vehicle from the world marketed Murayama.

The main body received some modifications, such as an additional third-side window, a widened rear windscreen, a black plastic-covered A-pillar and some performance revisitations.

The mass is 1100kg, while the engine is a naturally-aspirated 2.0 MIZ 4-cylinders 16-valves DOHC, focused more on fuel-saving performance rather than power.
It is, in fact, able to reach the fuel consumption of 6l/100km.
The engine delivers 120hp at 6100rpm, in a FWD configuration, through a 4-speed automatic gearbox.

The Murayama Lucent is the example of a commuter eastern-asia vehicle from the early 90s. Suspensions are Progressive, Adaptive Dampers, oriented to a smooth ride performance.

The Galante trim level, that I'll soon release, gives you a Full-Time 4WD traction system.

Tested on Gridmap and on Jungle Rock Island, the car is very well detailed!
Performs quite well on the bouncy surfaces of JRI, however at high speeds I sincerely suggest to pay attention to the direction of the car. Over 75km/h some understeer can be felt. The FWD layout gives a more confident and predictable ride. I compared it with the BXR Pares (V10) , that uses a RWD configuration and a 55hp 1.4 engine. The difference is tangible.
