Mad Max Pursuit Vehicle (Moonhawk Skin)

    Mad Max MFP Pursuit

This is a supercharged version of the MFP Pursuit vehicle "Big Bopper" that was in the first chase at the beginning of the original 1979 Mad Max film. It's tuned to reach around 160mph in game so slightly faster.

The siren was as close as I could find for now, it's a New South Wales dual set-up which is pretty close to the vehicle in the original film. The double beacon lights are pretty close as well, eventually I will either make my own or move these to the back of the roof where they are in the film. I've added little extras that are accurate like the name on the driver’s side of the car, roof number and the MFP badge above the back wheels.

I've still got a lot to do to this vehicle, I have already made some changes to the original on YouTube such as realigned the trunk and added stripes to roof and bonnet. Eventually the wheels will be yellow as well on both the Pursuit and Interceptor and I need to add roof spoilers. I've got limited time at present so sticking to skins as I've not looked at designing game stuff for years but will get there eventually.

The required extras for the MFP Pursuit vehicle can be added via the links below and everything should be ready to go. Don't forget the credit for these goes to the original owners.

    End Note

The skins for the car use the standard Moonhawk with a few added extras, I've only done the skin itself and tuning of the vehicle and of course sourced the parts as near as I could get them. It's very much a work in progress as and when I have some spare time, hopefully I will get round to making or modifying some body parts to make it more realistic but even as it is the cars are still fun to drive.

I've only made three skins for BeamNG.drive, all use the Moonhawk and look okay. I've done the General Lee, along with the MFP Pursuit and MFP Interceptor from the original Mad Max film back in 1979. I've not actually done any design for games since the original NFS series, first car I made for that was the MFP Interceptor but that was completely from scratch.
