Beta Mega Gavril Engine pack 2.2

60+ Engines and a ton of tuning and aftermarket parts for your Gavril vehicles

  1. iRetr0x
The biggest and best Engine pack on the repo! (I think) with almost each engine having custom meshes or custom something lol. started out with just the 6.5L V8 and became this. I am planning to make an etk and ibishu pack as well as other plans, idk what will and wont happen so dont beg or ask. Also not everything is perfect, mod is still in beta and will probably stay that way for a while.

Note: check update tab for changes or added content as it wont be put here and also don’t ask me to add this or that or change this and that in reviews, that’s not what they’re for. Literally just PM me.
(There’s literally so much shit in this mod idk what else you could ask for)

    1980’s To Today:

Gavril Was Not Doing Well Financially In 1978. They Were Still Developing The D Series When The 1980’s Recession Hit. The Key Event Leading Up To This Was The 1979 Oil Crisis And Gavril Needed To Turn Things Around Soon. Money Was Becoming A Huge Obstacle In Gavril Production, Especially With The T Series Sales Taking A Dip In 1981. Even Through All This, Gavril Still Needed To Develop New Era Engines For The D Series And D Series Chassis Related Projects Such As The Roamer, Making Its Debut In 1992. Gavril As A Company Was On The Line When This Happened And So, Gavril Did The Only Move They Saw Fit. They Made Base Engines Consisting Of The 4.5 And 5.5 V8’s, And Expanded On Them To Astronomical Levels. They Brought In Their Old, Outdated Engines And Modernized Them To New Standards. Gavril Even Went All In Designing A New Range Of Common Rail Diesels And Luxury Esque Offerings. Gavril Offered The All New Fuel Sipping 3.4 Liter V6 In The Roamer As An Alternative To The Already Venerable V8’s. They Offered The Range Topping 9.5 Liter Cherrier Co-Op Diesel V10 In The D Series For Towing Entire Continents At The Step Of A Pedal. They Even Brought Back The Proven “Honey Badger” Line Of Engines As A Classic Option For All The Men Longing For The Good Old Feeling Of Speeding Away With The Scent Of 87 Octane In The Air. All This, Brought Gavril Out Of Their Financial Hole And They Went On To Produce Their Legendary Models Like The Grand Marshal And H Series Van For A Long Time, Earning Gavril The Trust, And Hearts, Of The Whole Northern And Western Hemisphere. And With That, Gavril Was Back On Top, Making America Proud, Just Like They Always Did.

    1970’s To 1980’s:

It Was 1973. The Oil Crisis Just Hit And The Whole Auto Industry Was Turned Backwards, Upside Down, And Inside Out. Change Was Upon The Gas Chugging Monsters Of The 1960’s And Early 1970’s. Gavril Was Hit Hard. Their Only Vehicles In Production Was The Barstow And The T Series. The T Series, Rather Luckily, Was A Semi Truck, And Was Not Required To Be As Efficient As The Barstow Which Would Plummet In Sales Due To It Chugging Gas Faster Than The Driver Chugging His Brandey, Pumping Out His Hairy Chest, And Playing With His 357. The 1970’s Was An Interesting Time. Gavril Decided To Pull A Fast One And Bring In Some Of The Old Equipment Used In Older Models In Gavril’s History. They Brought In The Bluebuck’s Engines Which Originated From The Burnside And Stuck Them In The Barstow As Is. Now The Engines Weren’t All That Efficient, But The Lower End Engines Were Small And Fairly Efficient Comparing To Bruckell’s New 378 Cubic Inch V8. Barstow Sales Increased Slightly Although It Never Was The Same And Gavril Decided To Kill Off The Legend In Its Prime, In 1976. It Was A Miracle It Lasted That Long As All The Engines That Made The Barstow Famous Were Gone By 1971. And So, That Was It. The Barstow Was Gone, Retired While It Was Still On Top, Instead Of Being Spun Off Into A LeGran Like, Senior Driven Trash Can. While Today The 1971 And Before Models Fetch A Hefty Penny At The Auctions, The 1973 And Up Models Are Gaining Value. So Come, Experience The Painful 1970’s In A Modern World Where All Classics Are Appreciated. As For 1972, That Was The Very Lonely Year, Without A Barstow, An Event Which Would Repeat Itself In 1983 With The Corvette, One Of The Barstow’s Bitter Rivals.

    Performance Parts/Intakes
    I4/I6:
    Long blocks
All V8 long blocks ported and tuned to the I6/I4
    Tubular Headers
These add power and come in three colors, Chrome/Silver, Black and Gold
Note: just for fun, gold adds slightly more power than the others
    Big Two Barrel Carb
This is just visual (based off airboxes from the 60s), doesn't effect power
    Note: exclusive to I6
Single and Twin Four Barrel Carbs
Both effect power about the same as on the V8 but tuned to better fit the I6/I4
Note: Twin variant is exclusive to I6
    Stage 1-2 Supercharger
Both effect power about the same as on the V8 but tuned to better fit the I6
Note: exclusive to I6, supercharger belt isn't perfect and can't be
    Sport and Race Sidedraft Carbs
These are my personal favorite, Race carbs effect power about the same as the V8's Quad carbs but tuned to better fit the I6/I4, Sport carbs are about 25% less powerful
Note: use these, they're the most powerful of all of them
    Aftermarket Fuel Injection
Ported from the pickup I6 and slightly detuned, this is a weak intake but does add power
    Blow-Through Turbo
requires turbo exhaust manifold, piping is a bit ugly
no pics cuz I'm lazy but its there!
    V8/V6:
    Sport and Race Carbs
Same deal, but with V8/V6, Race carbs make more power than the normal quad carbs and have chrome airhorns
Note: sport variant is exclusive to the V8
    Aftermarket Fuel Injection
Ported from the pickup V8 and slightly detuned

The turbos on the pickup have a weird texture bug, sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t.

This will get updates adding more content, fixes etc
There's alot of things in this mod which aren't listed here so just check everything out for yourself!

Feel free to make mods/engine swaps and stuff like that but give credit and also report bugs and suggestions to either pm or the discussion tab.

Also this mod has alot of meshes (some high poly) so it may be cpu heavy.

Honestly a fantastic mod! I did notice that the engines now seem to lack any engine mounts, and just hang from the hood and even touch the ground. Probably due to the new updates. Besides that, great job!

This mod was going to be an instant classic just based on what it is, but iRetr0x more than delivered on this project. It's a casino buffet of Gavril engines for every Gavril vehicle, with fully fleshed out parts, models, and a backstory. There are a couple wobbly pulleys on some engines, but the developer is responsive about fixing them. Thanks for making this, and my best wishes for your health

I’m working on adding more things to the grand marshal but definitely not the 200bx, this is only for gavril vehicles
