Extremely useful for realistic plane failures and crashes but the random explosion is annoying as hell when your trying to land and your plane randomly explodes lol
-
Author's Response
You can always disable it

Are you planing on making it so that you can target specific parts id that's even possible?
-
Author's Response
It would be possible but the list of parts would be enormous and wouldn't fit in the app lol

I don't know what the exact date will be but you can expect it in a few days or a week. Unless something goes wrong.

Awesome mod, love the idea of having randomized failures to happen on your vehicle!

Author's Response
Not really possible, the closest you can get is the Beam Regenerator mod

nice! are you able to make it so it can be sized like the break all breakgroups app?
-
Author's Response
I know the size is a big issue, but just the amount of content makes it impossible for me to make it smaller, as the font can't have a smaller size than it has now

Planned, coming in next update

The only thing I would suggest is a range of time for the random failures.

Author's Response
Will be added in next update, already works on my end now

What a fantastic mod, very well done sir :D
And I like the idea of a menu to pick what mechanical failure to incude in the random failure every 10 second button. and maybe a option to adjust the timer.
But It is a impressive mod no matter what you deside to do with it. :) -

I love this, granted I do wish that there was an option to have a second menu with specific options in terms of mechanical failures instead of leaving it to the roll of the dice but that is another story. It was more challenging than I had expected to complete a lap on bajarama with the 10 second toggle and ironically enough not even because of the spontaneous-combustion .

I don't know if its a surprise but if so then you did amazing lol. i was using the 10s damage and every other part that was damaged i was having a fire, i tried to keep my truck alive as long as possible but everytime i had a fire i just gave up at a certain time. but at one point my whole vehicle just blew up. it was hilarious yet slightly startling lol. loving this mod wish i could rate it higher. but in my heart 10 out of fucking 10 i love this!

Amazing mod, made the game a allot more fun, and having 10 cars randomly f@cking up is funny to drive through ssrb big highway in an arab drift car avoiding failing cars

i dont know if it's a easy thing to do but whould be possible to select player vehicles or traffic vehicles?

Author's Response
No idea if this is possible and how I would have to do it if it is. Probably won't happen.

Very fun app to use. I'd like to suggest engine failures (like damaged piston rings, radiators, oil pan etc) and if it's possible, to make the app recognize the already damaged parts, or atleast the tires. I set the 'Random Failure every 10 seconds' looking at the info, half of the time the tire which has been popped already has been popped again, so that's bit annoyting. Otherwise, great mod.

There is an experimental unused function in the mod for damaging powertrain. I didn't make a button for it because it was the most unreliable thing ever. Half of the time it didn't break what it was supposed to break, and it also affected things that weren't part of powertrain. It would require some hardcoding to get a list of part names commonly used in powertrain and bind the deform function to those parts, then it would be possible, I could try that. About the tires, there isn't really a way for the game to tell which tire is already popped, because if you try to check by part name, the game sees both front wheels as the same part, and both rear wheels too, and popping the tires is not done by part name, but by a number corresponding to the order of loading of the wheels and you can't tell which one has which number, and when a tire pops the game only knows the tire name while popping but not that number... This is a mess but that's how tire popping was coded by the devs. I tried to make a workaround but it was too complex for me. I'll see what I can do about powertrain later.

love it but cana you make it so we can select what we want to break like a bolt for the frame or a small part
-
Author's Response
When you use the options to damage or deform random part, smaller parts will break off more often than bigger ones, that's the only sort of control you can get here. When you want a specific part then just do it manually with node grabber.
