Other companies make uninspired, boring and slow tiny cars.
Malpensa just made a different kind of small car:

The Allegretto has an aluminium-spaceframe and McPherson Struts front and back. It has boxer4 engines in the rear, rwd and depending on the variant new and modern tech.

The base model 1.3i has 95hp and is made to be simple and cheap, because it doesn't use any special or weird tech.

The 1.3Si uses the same engine, but with a Malpensa Si System. It gets to 30kph from 0 nearly instantaneously. Time to surprise the big cars at stop lights. It has 115hp and better/sportier suspension and a manual gearbox.
Best selling variant of the car.

The 1.6i has also 115hp, but more torque than the 1.3Si. It has a soft suspension, a modern automatic gearbox and is the best choice for longer trips.

The RSi features the 1.6Si engine, sport tires, sport suspension, 166hp, really high red line and less weight, aswell as passive aerodynamics. Used at Malpensas Trackdays.

The following variants are the TT4s: They are twinturbo charged and due to their high amounts of torque and also power, they feature an awd system with 30/70 or 24/76. They can be spotted by the two small grilles below the rear lights.

The 1.3TT4 has 155hp and a big amount of torque. It isn't all that sporty but fairly quick, It is the second best selling version. Passive aerodynamics keep it down at high speeds.

The 1.6 TT4 has 225hp and 300NM of torque, aswell as a sport suspension and, like the 1.3TT4, bigger wheels in front an back, but this one has them wider at the rear. Passive aerodynamics keep it down at high speeds and on track at tight corners.

The RSTT has a 1.7l engine making 340hp, 250kph topspeed, (after Update:345hp and 270+kph) race suspension and tires, passive aerodynamics, more power at the rear wheels (24/76), has a sport interior with 4 reace seats and no comfort at all. It is limited to 5000 examples.
Also, it has no mufflers or catalythic converters^^ But it has a special new "turbo exhaust" with exposed exhaust system.
