2003-2008 Kiwami NJOI Spec-GT

The third generation NJOI sits on a modified, optimized Kiwami GB1 chassis. While the GB2 NJOI is known to be heavier, larger and less connected than the GB1 and GA predecessors, it more than made up for it with an updated 2-liter engine.

The Spec-GT plays the role of the top trim, with an output of 170 brake horsepower and a dry weight of 1130 kilograms. For the first time, the small roadster could punch above its weight class!

The styling was also an improvement over the rapidly aging GB1 NJOI, which still shared more than 65% of its parts with the successor.
Sales numbers of the GB2 proved more than satisfactory, and Kiwami celebrated the end of production with a limited run of Meltdown Yellow cars.
