Story:
The Trevor (car) is Kabooga's (company) attempt at a not-so-expensive small sportscar. While still under development, Kabooga decided to turn one of the first prototypes into an autocross racer to take part at FailRace's well known championship.
The Trevor FR2000 model is that race prototype, running on a turbocharged two liter boxer engine, all wheel drive and a low speed oriented gearbox.
Extra info:
I tried to fine tune the car (withing Automation standard resources) to suit what Alex (FailRace) asked for in the competition guidelines. My main goal was to develop an easy to drive awd car, and I feel this one became very stable. When understeering mid corner, this car reacts well to quick bumps on the brakes and it also takes handbrake turns smoothly.
It never had a chance to compete in the official event, but you can watch footage of the car in action on my Youtube channel (channel name: "oclynx" / video name: "Kabooga Trevor FR2000 @ FailRace Autocross")
