Well, here it is, my first mod. As such, I'm sure some things could be improved, and there could be some issues, but I hope you enjoy it. This started as some simple configs, and ended up being more than that.

In 2010, Hirochi introduced a new version of their recently released Sunburst. It was an unexpected move, as the brand wasn't known for making commercial vehicles, but this changed with the introduction of the new Sunburst Van, Van Mix and Van Cross, nicknamed the 'Vanburst'.

The idea was simple: taking as a base a barebones Sunburst Wagon Base, Hirochi made a commercial vehicle that didn't break the bank. Stripped interior in dark grey and black, unpainted bumpers, side mirrors and front door handles, as well as simplified rear trunk lights helped in keeping production costs low, which meant the sale price was quite low. Suspension was also reinforced, to support heavier loads.

When it comes to the powertrain, there were 4 different options:
    - A detuned 1.6L flat-4 petrol engine, good for 95 PS and 135 Nm. This engine provides adequate performance and good fuel mileage. It is available for the Van and Van Mix.
    - A detuned 2.0L flat-4 petrol engine, good for 130 PS and 185 Nm, offers a good compromise of performance and fuel efficiency. It is available only for the Van Cross.
    - A 1.6L flat-4 turbodiesel engine, good for 95 PS and 235 Nm. Extra torque and excellent mpg makes it an attractive option. It is available for the Van and Van Mix.
    - A 2.0L flat-4 turbodiesel engine, good for 129 PS and 305 Nm. The most performant engine of the Van, still offers great fuel mileage. It is available for the Van, Van Mix and Van Cross.

Both the 1.6L and 2.0L petrol engines were mated to the standard Sunburst 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.6L diesel engine got a new version of that gearbox, with tweaked ratios, and the 2.0L diesel engine got an all-new 6-speed manual transmission.

While the standard equipment was quite simple, some optional extras were available, including a radio, fog lights and center hubcaps (this ones being standard on the Van Mix and Cross). ESC and TC were standard, but the Sport mode was deleted.

The Van version came with no rear seats, an interior partition, and slots to secure cargo, while the rear door and quarter windows were replaced with steel panels. The rear door panels were also simplified.
The Van Mix kept the standard rear doors, but the quarter windows were still replaced by steel panels. This version was intended to haul cargo while having seating for 5 people.
The Van Cross, based on the Van, got lifted suspension, fatter tires and Hirochi's AWD system. A reinforced front skidpad, unpainted sideskirts, center hubcaps, foglights and roofbars completed the package.
There was also an Utility package available for the Van, which included a light bar with antenna, a radio, a GPS, foglights and boxes to store tools and other bits. This version was intended for road assistance usage, such as Hirochi's On-Road Assistance (H.O.R.A.).

All in all, the Van proved to be quite popular, thanks to the low price and good powertrains, and met Hirochi's sale targets. The last unit rolled out from the factory in 2015, a year after the normal Sunburst was phased out.

    Known bugs:
    - Skinning the edited parts (windows, bumpers, mirrors...) may prove difficult, due to how I changed the textures by editing the UV map.
    - Rear trunk lights may not deform or break as on the stock Sunburst, again because of the way I changed the texture.

    Credits:
    - carambolage, for the More Sunburst Basic Variants mod (dark interior, detuned engines and edited 6-speed shift knob).
    - JorgePinto, for the Phool Start mod (edited steel wheels and rear door panels).
    - StivJocuri, for the New Sunburst Diesel Engines (1.6L and 2.0L diesel engines, with edited turbo inertia and tweaked gearbox).
    - BeamNG.drive

It's amazing how fun it is to drive a slow car HARD. What's cooler is the amount of storage space this has, making it perfect for career mode. As a brazilian, who sees these kinds of cars being driven REAL HARD daily, IRL, it's fun to do it in a safe environment rather than on the actual streets endangering the lives of many people. Cool mod, thanks for making it. Now to make some liveries...
