HARFANG X TYPE 2.0

Today It's a great day !

Only because it's my car that i present to you !
This ladys and gentlemens, is a Jaguar X type !

First launched in 2001 with The 2.5l and 3.0l soon joined by some Diesel 4 banger and last with the 2.1l sport
Based on the Ford mondeo this car has not a very good reputation (fake jaguar).
I'm not rich guys so give me your jag and let's go !
In fact it is a preaty reliable fun car who suffer to much by her reputation...

Mine got the 3.0l V6 who makes a pretty cool 234hp !
The transversal architecture of the engine make the only problem of this car ...
She was only in FWD or AWD ...

I live in the montains so the AWD is pretty good for me !

She gets a 225 by 15 inches wheels cover by sports tires and joined by some Limited slip differentials.
The car is only a 5 speed manual and existed in automatic but was far less reliable ...
The top speed is around 236km/h



So this is like mine, 3L V6 234HP AWD manual.



This is the 2.5l that i made in sedan, its fwd and took the 5 speed automatic and make 194 hp, with the executive pack, she got chrome trims and grill.



The incredible silhouette version with the 3L V6 boosted to 391 hp at 10000 rpm !
Race suspensions, wheels, aero and differential, she is extremely quick and light !
With his 6 speed manual with awd and 1050kg !!



And this ! this is the ultimate x type version !
The X type SVO produced in 2 cars ...
Equipped with the 3L v6 and with the S type Supercharger (that i can't do) she produces 350 hp with LSD share to all wheels and a 6 speed manual.



And now the first non-existing version that i imagine.
So imagine if Jaguar wanted to participate to group B or group S if it existed.
Nearly 500hp, AWD, 6 speed manual, 1000kg, kisses...



I also imagine, what if they made a Cab version ...
So i made it, 3 doors, 6 speed automatic, the 3L v6 with LSD , sport tires and a slightly sportiest exhaust.



A private compagny wanted to modernised the nearly 20 years old X type and they only put the 3L and they add a 10 speed DCT automatic gearbox, modern interior, brakes, electric LSD, 400hp and 1300kg.

And a twin turbo setup, yes...



I finaly imagine if Jaguar wanted to engage the X type to the Pikes Peak (because i love PP).
1000kg, 1450hp, awd, carbon ceramic brakes, 7 speed semi auto gearbox !
Launch yourself to the top in less than 12 min with the optimized aero and a really strong car !

As ending i will just say that they are preaty fun cars to drive ingame and if you're like me and you want your car in game (and you got an x type)
this is the perfect one !

Like always i try my best to get the as close as possible to the real ones !
From the bore/stroke of the engine, the power curve, the wheels, the brakes etc ...
This mod is far from being perfect but be patient, i will not stop my research until it will.
With that, Drive not too wisely and cruise with style !
