Beta HARFANG CEDES PACK 1.0

1955 MERCEDES PACK

  1. StandingB1rD

Today i present to you some geat historical cars !
The W196 was produced by Daimler-Benz in 1954 and didn't win a lot of races due to Mercedes to stop motorsports because of the enormous crash of 1955 where in Le Man, a 300SLR crashed to the public and killed a lot of peoples...

But the W196 was made to win !
12 races 10 victory ! with some giant pilots like Juan Manuel Fangio or Stirling Moss etc ...

The Blue Wonder was not a car but a race transporter truck, with the 300SL engine ! an Inline 6 in MID FRONT position (just behind the front wheels).
This deseign was never seen before (and after too) and was produced just for carying some 300SL and others F1 cars.

So the ones we are talking about today are :

The W196 who got an inline 8 (that i couldn't do) producing an incredible amount of 260 hp, that was around 20 more than Lancia or Ferrari, and 295hp in 1955 for only 640kg !
This I8 was produced for High RPM so the top Power is at 8500RPM¨!
It's logicaly RWD and got a 5 speed manual gearbox.
One of the most dificult car to drive i made !
I tryed pikes peak with and it took me almost 2 hour to make a good chrono to the top !.

The Mercedes Blue Wonder making 180HP for 1490kg in RWD and with a 4 speed manual gearbox.

That is all for these mods !
i hope you'll enjoy the role play of the thing !

Like always i try my best to get the as close as possible to the real ones !
From the bore/stroke of the engine, the power curve, the wheels, the brakes etc ...
This mod is far from being perfect but be patient, i will not stop my research until it will.
With that, Drive not too wisely and cruise with style !
