Gionelli Forestiera (1958) Civilian

In 1958 Gionelli presented the Forestiera: a vehicle designed to move off-road while maintaining the prestige of the car, giving a typical Gionelli design and not sacrificing performance. The engine is completely new, however it was not created by Gionelli: we are talking about a 2052cc OHV 2V 4-cylinder in-line engine with 76 horsepower, which with a 4-speed manual transmission allows the car to reach a speed of 110 km / h : the actual maximum speed is 126 km / h, however the house advises against bringing the engine (diesel fuel in addition) to such high speeds. The interior is premium, Gionelli used easy to wash fabrics due to the offroad nature of the vehicle, and there is a premium quality AM radio. The Gionelli house advised against sporting use on the street, as the vehicle was designed for off-road use, but guaranteed a road version coming soon.
