Gavril D-Hundred Series / Spitfire 3.0

Rotary D series? Yes please!

  1. Bentonchiez
Firstly, I want to thank ACShibu and Syncy for the models.

AFTER 2 MONTHS, THE NEW UPDATE IS FINALLY HERE!
    Generation breakdown:

Siptfire (1982-1984): In mid 1982, Gavril saw the success of the Hirochi RUSH, and decided to make a cool truck of their own. It was powered by a 1.1L twin rotor engine, making about 150 bhp. Sadly they didn't sell well, so they've become very desirable today.

D200 (1986-1989}: While the Spitfire was not a success, Gavril saw there was potential for a popular small truck with a traditional crankshaft engine. They designed a cheap 2.0L I4 for it, which was severely underpowered and also suffered from abysmal reliability. These trucks are worth near nothing, and for good reason.

D150 (1989-1994): The D200 was replaced by the D150 when Gavril bought the rights to the Ibishu 1.5 engine from the outgoing Covet. It was substantially more reliable than the D200 but it was somewhat more lethargic due to the underpowered engine.

D250 (1995-2004): In 1995, Gavril decided to make a more powerful D-hundred series truck, with a brand new designed 2.5L I4 engine. While not as reliable and frankly unkillable as the D150 powertrain, these were recieved very positively and ended up being Gavril's best selling vehicle for the next three years in a row, and the production run lasted nearly 10 years.

D250L (2003-2004): In 2003, Gavril decided to produce a limited edition D250 to celebrate 20 years since the original Spitfire. This version was more powerful, pushing around 200 bhp stock, as well as having special decals and a more modern front fascia. Only 3000 of these trucks are known to exist.

D500 (2000-2004): Gavril decided to produce one last series before shutting down. All the previous generations of factory Spitfire were more aimed for commercial use, for people looking for a cheap reliable work truck. However, the D500 generation was more of a high performance offroad-sport generation. Featuring a new 5.0L v8 engine, this final generation of Spitfire is more for the enthusiast and not for the construction site.

    Common issues and fixes:
-No crew cab mesh: Clear cache.
-Standard crew cab body/bed missing: Use crew cab frame, not extended short frame.
-Other bugs: PM me here, or on Discord at Benton#5419. DO NOT USE REVIEWS TO REPORT BUGS, AS THEY ARE USUALLY NOT CAUSED BY THIS MOD.

wow, just wow, this whole update may as well be a new mod! only issues i have are that all the engine models are broken in some way or another+gaps in model near the bed. some engines also seem to not have thermals which ive found is linked to the diesel intakes for some reason during making my own mods. also engine specs are way off from the supposed lore. needs polishing but will get there eventualy

great mod. only suggestion i have is higher final drives or something since the engine revs so high and makes so little torque

I love the mod and the concept so I'm going to rate it five stars, but with that said, I don't know if this is a problem on my side or with the mod but the cab pretty much caves in every time I load the mod with the default short bed. I removed all mods and cleared cache and tried again with only this mod but it still does it. If anyone could tell me if its working for them that would be great. It could be a new update that broke it or a problem on my side. Thanks.

I don't know its a bug or a feature but whenever i press handbrake (which is the A button on my xbox controller) the car seems to lock itself and i can't fix it unless i reload it in the vehicles menu. Other than that it's a great mod

Sounds like a mod conflict. Do you by chance have the D series cannon mod installed?
