Japan had long been known internationally after World War II for its reliable, well-built cars. However, their design left something to be desired - usually relying on a boxy, unassuming design which simply got the job done.
However, with the rapid explosion of the sports car market in the 1960s, Fukorami jumped on the chance - within months, they released the Oria - an Italian-styled GT sports car.
Packing almost 200 horsepower from an inline-6 engine, the sub-ton Oria excelled at both speed and handling departments, and the sleek shape put Fukorami on the map in the sports car segment.
Featuring an inline-6 engine coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, the lightweight Oria excells in the corners, but is also surprisingly fast on the straights.
This mod includes seven variants of the Oria, which are as follows;
Oria Coupé '65-70
Oria Coupé (lights down) '65-70
Oria Roadster '67-70
Oria Roadster (lights down) '67-70
Oria Rally Car '70-71
Oria Race Car Mk.I '66-67
Oria Race Car Mk.II '68-69
All of them feature unique OEM paint, and behave very differently. The Roadster for example is heavier and less rigid than the Coupé, while the Race Car Mk.II sits lower and stiffer than both, making its handling superior.
I hope you will enjoy it!
