Frankenstein Pessima 1.0

A car on its last legs that's been abused and repaired with a motley of sketchy parts over decades

*You can also read its story in the in-game description, if you'd prefer*

    Once upon a time...

...a long, long time ago, nearing the end of the Reagan Era...

...in a ghetto deep inside the Inner City...

there had lived an Ibishu Pessima.
    PhotoFunia-1590203913.jpg

As the boxy beaut that it had been, one would think that this would be the kind of car that family members would pass on to kin to preserve the legacy of geometrical cars we will never see manufactured again in the future. On the contrary - this particular Pessima was instead treated like a cheap piece of sCRAP metal since its second owner came about. Generation after generation sold it down to one another, marketing it as a 'two-owner car' (a lie), and each successive owner fixed it on an increasingly minimal basis and with cheaper and cheaper parts. Now, after dozens of owners, what was once a half-decent Pessima has now transformed - via a motley of crappy used replacement parts - into something that simply isn't really a Pessima anymore (I mean, just look at the poor thing)...
    Frankenstein.png

'A $600 steal!' says the Craigslist ad; but the only thing up for stealing was the vibrance of what started out as a noice car. Now, nearing the end of its life, and given its clear dilapidation, this Pessima likely seeks to fall apart on its final owner at the worst moment, killing them in the process. Although we cannot be certain for sure who that may be, what we can be sure about is that , for starters, this will indeed happen, and it's just a matter of when; BUT - last but not least - what is made clear is that this hunk of metal and scrap parts is no Ibishu Pessima; it is instead...THE FRANKENSTEIN PESSIMA...

    Features Include:
    • A motley of sketchy/beater-y parts for use on any 1988 model Pessima!
    1.jpg

    • Config descriptions that actually took me a really long time to write!
    • A 1.0L engine that's probably the slowest/crappiest engine for the Pessima to ever exist as of this time of writing!
    2.jpg
    • A custom skin!*
    • Did I mention a beater variant - "Frankenstein's Last Ride" - that comes with a blown version of the 1.0L engine and an even crappier parts/tuning config!?

    3.jpg

And last, but certainly not least...
    • A pair of what's probably some of - if not the - most hilariously trashy crapcan cars on the repository!
So what are you waiting for? Download today to experience driving what is essentially a living nightmare of what was once an LX trim Pessima! You should probably do it before poor Frankenstein breaks down or gets busted once and for all! (admittedly, it'll probably be because of brake failure...)

It's a miracle he's been bought and sold countless times yet hasn't been sold for scrap (yet!) - try this miracle for yourself!

*A big thanks to ItsJustCurtis for providing the base skin off of which I made edits for this mod - if you like it, I encourage you to download his very well-made Trampy Skin Pack mod, which was one of my inspirations for getting into modding!

P.S.: This mod goes very well with my suspicious license plates mod!

*Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions, concerns, or anything like that, and pretty please PM me if you have any problems instead of using the review section - I'll respond to and fix them ASAP that way! Also, if you like the mod, I encourage you to leave a good review if you have the time so that I know to make more good-quality beater-y content for you in the future! Thanks!

And that's how I got pressured into buying the 1988 Civic this was based on. It's hard to say no to buying something that was far more crappy than the seller's picture shows, but after a 3 hour trip by train to Long Island just to see it, you just don't wanna walk away empty handed after expecting to drive home in a fresh whip. Especially when all your friends came with you and would have to endure a longer trip home if you said no and are also asking you pls buy car.

Thanks for the good review btw! I really appreciate it!

Thanks for the good review! I also love total crap cans - in fact, a good chunk of the like 5 cars I've owned since I turned sixteen almost three years ago now were (or still are!) crapcans, the worst of them being this 1988 civic sedan I bought for just $600 a couple of summers ago, which this mod is based off of - so basically, I'd say I got enough experience to know what I'm doin!

Thanks for the good review! I suggest you simply slap on a cheap spoiler and fartcan exhaust for an instant +300 HP. Trust me on this. Also use a McDonalds tray as an improvised rear-wheel skidplate like the one I found half-disintegrated while cleaning out the trunk of the old 88 civic sedan DX I bought for $600 two years ago (which the car mod is based off of lol)

Thanks for the good review! The first "80s" picture and the last two with my plate mods are from Los Injuros, and the other pics which are also the thumbnail pics are from a very old but very small Bronx map. Please PM me if you need help acquiescing these files - the latter might be hard to find because idt it's on the repository anymore!

Thank you so much - it means a lot to me! You could always do both, preferably the latter and then the former lol. Also if you like my kinda mods imma release [SPOILER ALERT] an "ETK E-Series" crappy ETK trim mod where the "E" stands for "Economy" so keep your eyes peeled for that and more of the good stuff coming from me!

Thanks for the good review! Yeah I made it to be really annoying even for me when shifting into third and forgetting that there IS no third so then you over rev the already beaten engine to death proper!
