The CT-26, a passion-project formula car entirely made within Automation and designed for BeamNG. Every asset used for the car can be found in the Automation Workshop.
Because of limitations within Automation, a lot of liberties were taken. One of most noticeable differences between the CT-26 and a modern Formula-1 car is the lack of an electric motor. Instead, the CT-26 opts for a 2.6L supercharged V6 pushing 1,092 horsepower to the 7 speed sequential transmission. Launching the 1765lb (800.6kg)
car around the track at blazing speeds.
My benchmark track for the car was Hirochi Raceway's Medium Course. I managed to get a time of 0:59:343 using a controller, but I can tell the CT-26 wants to go faster.
Please don't hesitate to let me know of any suggestions to improve the CT-26 further! After all, this is my first time ever making a car!
Have a great day! <3
