This mod adds new mission type 'Extra AI Race'

    This MOD is available from the Map in Freeroam mode. (NOT Scenarios)
    Please note that if you disable the challenge marker option, the marker will not be displayed. See [Options] -> [USER INTERFACE] -> [Show challenge markers].



    Introduction video




    I added a little flavor to the original AI Race mission.
    • UI like an arcade game
      • This mod's UI is respect to Thrill Drive. (KONAMI's old arcade game)
      • You can also use it in freeroam mode. (add "UI for extra race mission")
    • Restart System
      • In this mission, you and AI Racers can restart from last checkpoint by recovering your vehicle.
    • Rival Car Group Selection (see below)
    • Traffic Difficulty Selection
      • Off: No traffic
      • Easy: Traffic enabled without police
      • Normal: Traffic enabled with some police
      • Hard: Traffic enabled with all police
      • KEEP TRAFFIC: use already spawned traffic
    • AI Watching mode
      • If you enable this mode, you can watch AIs race.
      • In this mode, you can switch to AI racers vehicle.



    You can choose Rival Car Group from below.

    TIPS
    • You can restart from the last check point by pressing reset key. (R by default), and you can restart the challenge itself by pressing it 2 times.
    • The amount of traffic is depend on your option. See [OPTIONS] -> [GAMEPLAY] -> [TRAFFIC].
    • Turn off vehicle pooling may reduce the AI confusion. -- thanks to @KillerBee 2

    Been using this for several months, its a great mod but I just tried to get the custom vehicles mode worked out and there's no custom.vehGroup.json in the mod files, any fix?

    This mod keeps getting better and better. Is there any way to add "auto record mission" to the mod. Whwen you create an AI mission is records, but when you creat a mothkuro mission (sp?) you must manually record the replay. It would be awesone to have that feature. I forget to press record when some of the most amazing things happen.

    In some courses(such as the Container Derby),the AI is annoying.they often pile up or crash into the wall together.but most time it works fine

    Great mod, but there is a method to increase the IA intelligence? in every race she makes only pileups

    Took me a bit to figure out how to launch these mods (go to the Map screen btw, for those like me) as they are not loadable from the Scenarios menu area. Finally, some quality racing courses! Great job, like this mod a lot.
    Couple bugs; the blue start location icon symbol/sign is missing, and the blue cookie follow trail on the road does not always follow or lead to the check points properly. Keep up the great work!

      Couple bugs; I will fix the icon, however, since I'm reusing official functionality, it will be difficult to fix the blue cookie.

    I love this mod! Mainly for the figure of 8 race.. a couple of very minor things:
    - Is it possible for the Checkpoint noise to stop for every single car that goes through the checkpoints, and make it for the player car only? I have about 14 cars on the figure of 8 race and it's just constant checkpoint noise

    - is it possible to have an option to turn off the AI cars from re-spawning on the figure of 8 race?

      Thank you for your reveiw. It is true that the Rival Car Group choice is not flexible. I will try to add a customizable Rival Car Group including MOD vehicles.
      And what "advanced options" do you need?

    I really enjoy this mod, it' exactly what the game needed. It only needs an update to the WCUSA races and maybe some more races in other maps : )

    Good mod but it disables Advanced Steeeing mod when entering extra AI races. Can't turn it on no matter what until game restart. I need that mod because I'm broke af and use keyboard for steering. Please fix

    I really like these scenarios. Police AI is, for some reason, quite good and can catch up. They can be chaotic, granted you have a cpu capable of handling many cars at once.
