Recently a friend of mine needed more precision in the speed of a vehicle than the vanilla app could provide, so I decided to jump in and help. Sure enough, this mod took 10 minutes to make; upgrading the number's precision level and increasing the app's width to accommodate.
This is not the highest effort mod I have made. However, that is because of the simplicity of it. I feel the utility is worthy enough of uploading it to the repository so everyone else can enjoy higher-precision speed.
Because it replicates the vanilla app, it has all its features: real-time updating, fixed-width outputs, and seamless integration with replays. Here is a side-by-side comparison with the vanilla app:
