    A cost-effective competitive car for GT4 racing.

EuroTrack has used GT4's regulations to full effect for the N1 GT4, which is being released in time for the Bathurst 12hr race. The FIA states that GT4 cars must not weigh below 1000kg, but the EuroTrack N1 GT4 originally weighed just 790kg, there was also no rule against AWD cars, so EuroTrack used their lightweight advantage to make the car AWD, after also adding some extra weight to the front in order to give the car a 45-55 weight distribution the car weighs 1001kg. The car uses EuroTrack's new Ecotec naturally aspirated 5 cylinder engine producing 314bhp which has been mounted transversely to allow room for pushrod suspension on both the front and rear.

The Ecotec 5 cylinder also gives the 1001kg EuroTrack a rated fuel economy of 5.8l/100km on a highway, or 27.7l/100km on the race track. Having such good fuel usage means the EuroTrack will have fewer pitstops to make, which over a 12-24 hour race distance will half the number of pitstops, the low weight and AWD powertrain also means less tyre wear. For the Bathurst 12 hour race this is projected to save up to 10 minutes worth of pitstops.

EuroTrack does not expect the N1 to qualify on pole, as it doesn't have the straight line speed, but its power disadvantage is set to be offset by the 10 minutes saved from the reduced number of pitstops.

The car is projected to be a second per lap slower than average, but on average the other cars are set to make a pit stop every 45 minutes, rather than every 90 minutes, the result is that while the EuroTrack will lose 22.5 seconds before the pitstops on a 2-minute lap. The EuroTrack will gain back 60 seconds after the pitstops, this will mean the EuroTrack should have a 37.5-second lead, which would take 75 laps to close, but for the next round of pitstops the EuroTrack would also have to stop, after the second round of pitstops the gap would be down to 16 seconds, this would take 32 minutes to close and pass. After this the EuroTrack's rivals would have 13 minutes to pull out a lead of 6 seconds, but after the pitstops, they would lose a minute, this gap would be to large to close, the result is that the EuroTrack's rivals would now have to rely on safety car interventions to close the gap. The EuroTrack's AWD makes it also hard to pass as it is able to defend on the inside of a corner yet still get a better exit than its rivals with the AWD traction advantage.

The EuroTrack N1 is set to debut at the Bathurst 12 hour.
