    Information

First of (hopefully) a few V8 sounds coming your way :). This, is a Audi RS4 Inspired V8 sound that IMHO is one of my best so far. I was looking through the car list to see which it best fitted, and the ETK-K came up as the winner in my eyes. Even though it's mostly based on a BMW at the front, I see Audi influences at the rear.

This sound has that signature 4.2 V8 rattle in the mid range rpm which makes it glorious fun for cruising around, knowing as soon as you step on the throttle away you go to that wonderful sound. I've tried to make the top end as boomy as possible to compensate for the higher RPM shift in tone from the rattle to the more traditional V8 sound. Perhaps in the future I can find a high RPM rattle that blends well from the mids but for now this is IMHO sounding excellent at this stage

To hear the engine/select it correctly, load any ETK-K, go to engine and select the "4.2L V8" from the drop down and absolutely, if possible, use more with a Manual trans than a Auto.

*If anyone feels like the want to contribute sounds from there own vehicles, please get in touch with details of what I require and your vehicle engine sound could well make it in game. See development thread for project vehicles i'm on the hunt for*

Soon, I hope to have a Patreon page set up with exclusive behind the scenes stuff, how i do what I do, sample sounds and even rewards for those that contribute their own vehicle sounds for me to mod which is great way for me to give back to those generous contributions.

Sounds absolutely amazing! Really like, that it's not just a sound mod, but adds another engine as well, great job and keep it up.

Thank you :). Yeah, I try to match the torque curve of the vehicles I record too and make it a new engine, just so it's as unique as possible and not cause any inconvenience or incompatibility issues. Now with 0.12, more can be done with engines so stay tuned for that!

Sounds awesome, but it's just not for this car... it almost sounds like a Chopper Harley Davidson instead of an actual V8 from a, as you stated above, RS4.
It'd most likely fit better on the Base model V8 on the Moonhawk.

Conclusion: Although it sounds awesome, it's just from a completely different time era and does not fit at all on the K-Series.

It's actually from an S4, with a bored out 4.2 and a exhaust mod. It's not a stock car this was recorded from but rather a modded car. The engine is 8 years old, and actually a refurbished V8 4.2L. I appreciate the feedback, I added more reverb and burble to it for a more dramatic feel. I kinda get what you mean, but the sample was recorded from a mix of the exhaust and the intake, hence the tone. Regardless, thanks for feedback, although I'd appreciate the review of the sound it self, not marking down because of your personal vehicle preference of this sound :).

It's okay, but I think it should need a re-tune of the sound.

Retune? What do you mean exactly? Please provide more detail otherwise it's not very helpful for me lol.
