The idea is really nice and the mod is not bad at all, but it needs some improvements to the simulation. The car is very bouncy when it should be standing still. If I remove a wheel, the car falls to the ground and that shouldn't happen. It would be interesting if you could also implement the Active sway bar from the Xantia and the varius type of hydropneumatic suspension as used from 1955 to 2000.

As a Citroën BX owner i am really pleased to see someone make this fabulous hydraulic suspension system become reality in Beamng. Keep up the good work and i hope to see this mod being actually implemented in the game at some point!.

You did make my my day a bit brighter!

As the owner of a Citroën CX and XM, i am thrilled to finally see someone attempt the hydropneumatic suspension!

It is no small task; It is based on hydraulics, dampened by gas speres, increasing in damping force when the suspension is being compressed.

The return is very fluid, controlled. Distinguised.

It is not for nothing, they called these models 'the queens of the road' : there is a grace, worthy of a queen, on how it absorbes every uneveness in the road.

And it is this gracefullness that this mod lacks. You have the absorbtion part nailed, very well done!

But now all it needs is the damping to be more gracefull. The more the suspension is compressed, the more it gets dampened, bot going in and out.

I hope you are able to pull it of, because i would love to see it work!
And maybe after the suspension, a full car?? That is the dream :)

Would make it x10 times better if you modeled it. Amazing mod.

it is very good suspension for road uses but for off-road I suggest you at least add rebound damping because right now my car is a trampoline which is bad for off-roading.

As a Citroen CX owner, I'm very well versed in the behaviour of the suspension.
This is excellent for a first attempt, however in order for it to be more accurate you need to mimic the fact that in the Citroen the hydropneumatics also do the shock absorbing. I found that the car bounces on the suspension a bit when you let off after heavy acceleration. It should stay dead level.
I was very impressed by how you modeled the rear end squatting under heavy acceleration, however it squats to quickly when just pulling away.
This is a very impressive mod, and I only want to see it perfected, imagine the suspenion as a fluid moving up and down a cylinder, its very linear, controlled and precise.

    All in all, Well Done!

Excellent! Easy to see how well it is working on the suspension part of Grid map. Only on your configuration, you need to raise the front spring rate/decrease the rear spring rate because I think this car has a weight ballance of nearly 50/50 so the spring rates should be somewhat equal between front and rear
