based on the pickle

this is the first full car mod, much was taken from the pickle, and made into a Porsche type vehicle if it was poorly made. It also has an air cooled flat 8 engine option, and a version with mcpherson strut suspension all round.

If you want to see how it was made, and what it's like (though I have fixed the mcpherson strut suspension)

an ok mod. does mostly as expected.
    actual bugs:
    - the macpherson suspension is not very stable. the front offset by default with the mp suspension is very little, but increasing it to its maximum will cause the wheels to detach.
    - the general jbeam is not the highest quality.
    - the car will randomly become starved of oil sometimes. though i have yet to see a pattern in this, though it is vaguely similar to the moonhawk's issue before it got its fix.
    personal nitpicks:
    - the car is overall fairly low poly.
    - there is only one vanilla steering wheel you can equip (mod wheels do work)
    - the interior panels on the doors stay the same color, which can often clash with the body paint.
    - the interior in general is not that exciting, it is just the piccolina interior unedited (though, it is a kit car, so it makes some amount of sense.)
    - it looks quite ugly from the rear, though it's probably too late now to fix it and i respect that. i kind of like its questionable design in a way, actually.
    - not much customization. hood pins, headlight covers, or aero parts would be nice additions.
    - no livery support.
overall, a good attempt at making a full car in beamng. drives well and does not explode unpredictably. looks like a slightly retarded miata.

The mod has a lot of issues, heres what could be improved, the original message sent in filmans server had images but i cant attach them here, this is reposted so people know the issues of this mod and dont blindly give it 5 stars for no reason

i understand you want a bigger car but kit cars generally stay within the original proportions of the car based on (and on the case of the vws the frame sometimes gets extended) for a wider car youd just use fatter wheels instead of weirdly extending the suspension (will fuck up driving a tad). the design could defenatelly be much more smaller to fit the picco proportions . The licenceplate also looks a bit odd and could go in the lower part of the rear instead of the decklid
I imagine you used subdivision surface for the 3d model which while not bad makes the topology awful in certain places, you can defenately use subdivision surface but you need to clean up the mesh after using it (by removing a bunch of extra loops in the mesh) also the rear decklid is weirdly lowpoly?? you can see the curves are not smooth cuz of that
The int body is also generally much less detailed than the main shape, since its not gonna be seen as much, sharp details and ridges are generally removed to be lower poly
You would generally have one for the model, just use collections on a blender file to keep everything neat and organized
You forgot to change the internal names of the jbeams and some of the filenames, dont forget to do that for extra neatness
the jbeam is super weird since you have fenders from the autobello which are detachable but you dont have detachable fenders, leading to extremly broken meshes when you remove the fenders. for fixing this id either make the rear fenders actually a separate mesh as in the picco or make the connection beams unbreakable. for the front id join the hood (which is also missing) and fenders to form some sort of clamshell, ive done this before for a unfished drag mod i made and it wasnt hard.
Id suggest reworking the body for the Mcpherson suspension cuz it doesnt properly mount (modelwise) the rear suspension also jiggles under looad.

hope this criticism helps in inproving the mod :p
