Beta Driftace and Fastac 0.1

Vivace and sideways? Yes

  1. Velstydez
Hey everyone! First mod here. I like drifting, and whenever there's a new car... I just can't help myself to make it drift. Sometimes that requires more than tuning. So I made some new parts. Namely an adjustable transfercase, some drift steerings, and some new e-motors, now with available rear LSD! (Actually, the code for the transfercase was already in the game *shrug*)

Some story to go with it:

Stage 1: you finally ended up crashing your drift-spec 200BX for good and are left with your daily, an absolutely basic Vivace with an i3. It is slow, FWD and no good for fun at all. However, while accompanying a mate of yours to the junkyard for some parts, you notice a totalled AWD Tograc. It is very cheap. The cheap Vivace's rear subframe doesn't fit a rear diff, but the Tograc's does. You can guess what happened next.

Stage 2: you had some laughs and giggles at the Maccas parking lot with your friends, but truth is the i3 isnt good for any more than that, even with a remap. Plus, the wobbly suspension makes it very dangerous. You have managed to save some money, and since the warranty is void anyways, you decide to swap in a 2.0T from a better spec Vivace. You also get some adjustable suspension for good measure, so as not to drift into a tree.

Stage 2.5: the car is doing pretty well. However, it still lacks some power. So you get a remap and turn up the boost! Internals? They'll be alright.

Stage 3: the 2.0 gave up. You have no idea why. This time you decide to go all out rebuilding the car, with the inline 5, and a full bodykit. And since it has big power now, you might as well put the front diff back. No worries, the split is adjustable. You can make it RWD any time you want.

I decided to give the Tograc some love as well:
Since there is an AWD transfer case availabe, why not make a more serious Tograc rally car?

The ProAm Rally version has the 2 Liter engine and adjustable AWD. The gearbox is sequential this time.

Finally, as a bonus, a crazy fast electric version, with no speed limiter and plenty of power. Just because. The Fastac.

Hope you can enjoy the Cherrier cars even more with this addon :)

this mod is good for the most part, making the vivace RWD and adding electrical motors that are actually fast, but the one thing that I have issues with is when you put a OP electric motor on a rear wide track suspension, it dangles off. other than that, very good mod.

This is a good mod but you should put the safety electronics back and make the esc off mode default cause the dash freaks out

Thanks! And IDK, I'm not completely sure but I believe the ESP still acts even if you turn it off so thats why I had removed completely in the config. Also, it would make sense in a real car to just unplug the ABS sensors in a modern car if you really want to fool around (provided it still works hahaha)
