Beta - DieseMotors Engines for D-series

DieselMotors 4bt, 4bta, & 6bta Diesel engines.

This mod includes:
- 4bt inline 4 diesel engine
- 4bta inline 4 turbo diesel engine
- 6bta inline 6 turbo diesel engine
- multiple types of turbo chargers, including an overkill one. The overkill turbo generates more then 1000 torque!.
- several configs
- custom models
The idea for this mod, was to bring a cummins styled set of diesel engines. To beamng.drive This is a wip set of engines, without sound for now.

Please tell me what you think of this mod. And if you'd like to see more. especially in a new mod im working on.

New update fixes problems with launch, also adds better configs.

DieselMotors 4bt
This is the base edition of this truck, standard diesel engine without turbocharger.

DieselMotors 4bta
This is the slightly better edition, it includes better chrome bumpers, and a turbocharged diesel engine.

DieselMotors 4bta OffRoad
This is the lifted offroading editon. It includes a diesel engine with a turbocharger. Also 35 inch offroad tires and a suspension lift.

DieselMotors 6bta
This edition includes a crewcab with the newer more powerful dieselmotors 6bta diesel engine. Which is turbocharged.

For those who are complaining, this IS how a Diesel I4 with an Auto gearbox shifts properly, a relative of mine owns one and it makes early shifts at 2000 RPM even though it redlines at 4500.

Needs a lot of work. seems to not start up period. Tac seems to be off. Overall great idea, but needs a lot of work.

Great idea just needs some work. All the motors seem to have no real "push" to them and they rev extremely low. I know diesels are known for low red lines but not this low. The transmissions are also a bit awkward too. Not shifting when their supposed too and just being sluggish. I'd love to see some improvement on this mod because I think it could really be great.

  Sorry tired last night, actually this probably could use more tweaking. However I made a great manual 8 speed for it. You should use it in manual to get better results for now

good idea, but the smoke from those straight pipes come out in the middle of the pipe, and pipe in the trunk is like held down by few tapes of silvertape.

Good textures and all but The 6bta has too little inertia (It stalls when dropping the clutch in 1'st gear, low range RWD when throttle isn't applied) And It has too little power to even do a burnout. If you fix those issues, I'm going to give it 5 stars.

  Well I can't change the amount of engine power. This is based off a real engine. So I can try to change gearing, or maybe friction? I'm not sure yet

Finally, the textures are fixed! Although, the Overkill trubo is buggy. When you try to launch, the car stalls 9/10 times. That isn´t the same with the diesel turbocharger.
