Beta DieselMotors 8v71 T-series 1.0

The good old v8 two stroke diesel lives on

    The DieselMotors 8v71, based on the Detroit 8v71 v8 diesel.

    This mod includes the configs and parts outlined below.

    • DieselMotors 8v71 & 8v71T engines
    • DieselMotors Superchargers for the 8v71
    • DieselMotors Turbochargers for the 8v71T
    • DieselMotors 18-speed manual transmission
    • DieselMotors 4-speed manual drag & wip* 4 speed automatic drag tranny

    Here are the configurations included in this mod

    1. DieselMotors_8v71
    This is the base configuration for this new engine which is naturally aspirated and includes an 18-speed transmission.

    2. DieselMotors_8v71T
    This is the turbocharged configuration which includes an 18-speed transmission and twin turbo power yielding in 2300ish lb-ft of torque. further detail listed on config in-game.

    3. DieselMotors_8v71T_Drag
    This config is all out drag with a 4 speed manual transmission and twin turbos yielding in 14800 lb-ft torque and 2500 ish hp. Further information in-game.

    is the engine modeled as well, or does it just perform the same as an actual one?

      The engine isn't modeled the same as an 8v71 yet. Eventually I will model it better, but for now I wanted it to perform good, i'll model it more accurately next update hopefully.
