[03/14/2023] This is the very first release, version 0.1:
- 6-71 selectable as an engine for the Citybus
- Naturally aspirated or comes with adjustable turbo (but the stock block has real world damage parameters, so too much boost will blow it away! Start with a safe 14 psi). A more realistic turbo is in the plans for the future.
- Partially modeled blower (simulates a 2 lobe straight cut supercharger that produces a tiny amount of boost, and creates equal and roughly opposite parasitic loss to compensate. Mainly it makes the cool blower go brrr noises.)
- Torque curve data collected from old Detroit Diesel datasheet and used for a 270HP stock tune
- Sounds are preliminary but not too bad for a first try.
