Cummins ISLe5 Engine for the DT40L 1.0

The Cummins ISLe5 is a modern 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine used for buses. It comes with many different power levels, from 280HP to 400HP.

I have recreated the ISLe5 in BeamNG, including realistic sounds based off of an Iveco Metro, accurate torque curves, and full integration with my Wentward Transmission Pack!

Torque curves and recommended configuration


The ISLe5 in an Iveco Metro has a power output of 280HP, however 320HP is an optional upgrade. 340, 360, 380 and 400HP versions also exist, however they are not common with use in buses, and are used else where

My recommended configuration for this is:

ISLe5 280HP
- Transmission - Allison T-375R
- Final Drive - 5.38:1

These combinations are used in the real life Iveco Metro, which is what I based this off, so the sounds and driving dynamics are the most accurate!
