The Gargoyle was the first entry to the newly emerging affordable, low horsepower sports car market by the British performance brand, Constrictor. It was sold from 1965 all the way until 1977, with only one generation ever being released. Aside from some new features being added over the car's lifespan, the overall design stayed identical. It was fitted with a 2.3 liter inline 4 cylinder engine, producing only around 140 horsepower, and paired with a 5 speed manual transmission. The Gargoyle also featured a removable soft top convertible roof. It is a cult classic amongst Constrictor fans, and nowadays is considered a popular project car for restorations.![]()
