Why does it drift better than any other car in the game...
Experimental Carbonworks Beam-E 2.1
This is the forefront of electric single seaters. With 2 drive modes, AWD and 350KW of power, it is

Actually really good. Like the damages model, graphic is good. The change btw AWD and RWD can be a little tricky, sometimes just destroy ur car rdmly. Also Ik formula E have bad brakes but not THAT bad, try making them a little stronger to be more accurate (If you compare your mod facing laps irl, in some corners you have to brake 50 meters sooner than reallity, its really big and it feels like driving a truck on some tracks)

Clou_ArmbrustVersion: 2.1- 5/5,
it was a Excellent mod but after 0.37 update it does not work anymore PLEASE FIX IT!!!!
-
3li516Version: 2.1- 4/5,
pretty nice, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to A: use attack mode with the lights, and B: not have it understeer horribly at speed, but that could be just a skill issue
-
Author's ResponseThe lights I couldnt get to work- drive modes is what controlls the attack mode. And the understeer is just best I could do

N1C4ASVersion: 2.1- 4/5,
Bom mod bem feito.
Só alguns problemas o freio não funciona direito, adicione mais dowforce e opção de configurar, e por último mais gripe ao pneu -

Godzilla Games 2Version: 2.0- 4/5,
Since you have given us the way to fix it, and you've undoubtedly put a lot of time into this project, I'd say it is a really good mod with a bunch of potential.

PantherThunder22Version: 2.0- 4/5,
same thing as Nosypoke09, i cant for the love of god find where to turn off the regen braking, it makes a pain in the arse to try to corner without spinning out
-
Nosypoke09Version: 2.0- 4/5,
I think this mod has a lot of potential. Unfortunately the regen breaking really holds it back. The tires lock up so easily it's pretty much impossible to turn a corner without spinning. I've seen you respond to other people about turning it off but I can't find that option so it really is hard for me to do anything with this car aside from look at it. Also the lighting the car has on it is a little distracting but that may just be an issue with beam as a whole.
-
Author's ResponseI know its in the radial menu. Go "Vehicle Actions" (Steering wheel icon) > "Vehicle Features" (Top tabs, 2nd one in from the right (Rectangle with pointing hand) > Regen Braking (Lightning icon). Sorry about it though, its a very hard balancing act.

Formula24Version: 2.0- 4/5,
Cool concept but it needs some work. The model is pretty rough around the edges with shading details and straight lines/hard edges not being done as best as they could. The driving though, the regen is far far too strong off the default and needs to be setup for more like you would want from a race car (basically just engine braking levels of slowing down until you actually hit the brakes) it shouldn't just lock the rear tires when you lift off the gas (id use the VRC Formula Lithium as a guide for how the car should drive/behave) . The TC and ABS dont really make sense as those are both not on the real car either. Lastly it would be nice if there was some more part options, stuff like 2 speed gearboxes that some teams/oems run, extreme motor options (plaid swap etc) and more tire and wheel options letting us mess around with the car a bit more.
-
Author's ResponseThe regen is imposible to get right, tried but my only solution is lvl 1 regen braking, its a good middle ground. And I will not be adding more part options (the 2 speeds havent exsisted since gen 2) and I want to keep it that way.

LinkrVersion: 2.0- 4/5,
Glad to see it back, ive been waiting to try this for ages. my one issue is whenever you brake you spin out. great mod otherwise tho
-
Author's ResponseTry turning regen braking off or lvl 1, lvl 1 is what I recomend

AutomationThingsVersion: 2.0- 5/5,
Latest update is incredible, very accurate to IRL and drives very similarly to the rfactor 2 counterpart. However; the car spins out in long corners, and the regen braking locks the rears very easily. Can't really knock this down a star for that though, as it's experimental and this is the first real mod that does a good job of replicating electric racing cars.

HenrySweetlakeVersion: 2.0- 5/5,
Good mod, its nice that i got to see all the progress and do part of it!
-
juunoVersion: 1.0- 3/5,
Finally marked as unsupported on the repo. Good. Mod has been broken or undriveable since just after its last update. Don't act like you can support a mod for years if you can't handle a single game update or one (1) tyre handling bug across the span of 4 months.
-
Author's Responsewith all due respect, you shouldnt jump to conclusions. Its been marked as unsupported for awhile now. And you act as if it can be updated instantly with a snap of a finger. I have been slowly working away at a revamp. But I have other things I want to do so I dont get burntout. So maybe next time consider the otherside of the story.

KartingVerstappenVersion: 1.0- 5/5,
Good mod but it is currently broken and crashes my game when I try to spawn it.
Really looking forward to seeing this come back and get more skins. :)-
Author's ResponseOh thats a new one. To be honest I dont know if I will continue it. It is kinda shitty and is bug ridden. I might do tho but no garentees. Sorry.
-
AutomationThingsVersion: 1.0- 4/5,
Very high quality and fast but the tires are translucent for me and the top speed is a little lacking, i suggest adding a high speed engine variant for long tracks or just editing existing one
-
RijdendeKabouterVersion: 1.0- 3/5,
Was great before the update, now after the tires have broken textures and the slippery problem was only solved only like 20%. Every time I try and change something it also crashes my game. Same problem with your other mod as well. Hopefully these problems are fixed properly
-
PantherThunder22Version: 1.0- 3/5,
the tire texture is broken after the update, and the grip feels pretty much the same, i hope this gets properly fixed because this thing looks awesome, but its sadly undrivable
-
BurningGJVersion: 1.0- 3/5,
From the update, the tire textures are just gone sadly and it seems to have the tiniest less more slippery which is kinda better but still is very slippery. Overall the car is a tiny bit better just needs the grip fixed still. (i redownloaded the mod entirely)
