During the SUV craze of the 1990s, Gavril decided to create a Burnside badged Roamer with more powerful engines and more luxurious options. They called it Burnside Commander. Commander was quite successful in North American markets, but it was also available in Europe and Australia where it didn't do well due to size and lack of fuel economy.
