Beta Bruckell IBEX 1.7.7.6

Bruckell's restyled D-Series clone, for a cooler clientele...

    The long-awaited cosmetic rework is finally (almost) complete!
    screenshot_2025-05-22_11-49-19.png

    The mod now finally features more uniquely-Bruckell items, such as:

    - Hand-made Bruckell taillight models (I LOVE how these turned out)
    screenshot_2025-05-22_12-07-48.png

    - Really ugly hand-made Bruckell badges
    screenshot_2025-05-22_12-08-05.png

    - Bruckell lettering copied over from the Moonhawk (somewhat visible in the taillight screenshot)

    - "Bruckell" steering wheels ("Masked" copies of the Gavril wheels [for now])
    screenshot_2025-05-22_12-08-35.png

    The mod also now includes some quality-of-life features, such as:

    - Front turn signals (That's it lol)
    screenshot_2025-05-22_12-08-58.png

    Here is a screenshot of all the custom models the mod adds:
    stuffs.png
    (This is everything the mod adds)

    Below is a list of everything this mod adds;

    - A new radiator support that can mount dove-cut fenders

    - New dove-cut fenders, styled like a Dodge RAM

    - An edited fascia that won't clip the new fenders

    - New headlights to fit the new fenders

    - Slightly-edited "engbaycrap" and stock engine intake to fit the new fenders

    - An edited front valance to fit the edited fascia

    - All-new, hand-made "Bruckell" taillights with colorable frames

    - "Bruckell" lettering and colorable badges

    - "Bruckell" steering wheels

    - 2 new skins ("Indy500", and "Hellraiser"[loosely-based on the RumbleBee])

    - 4 new configs, based on some recognizable RAM offerings

    My future plans for this mod;

    - Adding more jbeam-detail to the fenders, as they're currently a barely-edited vanilla jbeam that doesn't fit super well

    - Experimenting with a grille that opens with the hood

    - Hand-modeled & textured Bruckell-specific steering wheel

    - Maybe adding a V6 or V10 engine, or perhaps a Cummins-clone diesel I6
    (Relatively distant future, obviously...)

    Bugs;

    - I had some trouble with the Moonhawk lettering materials bugging out, but I THINK I've fixed it.

    - If you run into any I haven't listed, report them here in the reviews, or PM me and I'll try to fix them fast-ish...

    Mod should just drop in your "Mods" folder and work, if it doesn't or if you run into any bugs, again, PM me and I'll try to fix it lol...

    Enjoy, all you crazy, crazy Dodge fanboys... I love you, but I'll never understand you lol

    It looks like a project is born and being developed! :) Any plans for adding configurations with proper config names and config description? I also recommend adding a copy of those ETK wheels and rebadging as a G for Gavril. If you want, I could create some configs for you.

      Project was born a long time ago and is very near completion. I can add config descriptions if that's really wanted. Also what are you talking about with wheels? Make all the configs you like, but not for me.

    This is by far one of my favorite mods, lets me drive my old 2nd Gen Ram around Eastcoast. However, I've noticed something and it only happens with the Bruckell front radiator, the hood latch no longer unlatches. I've tried it with several other D-Series mods like the Kodiak, the Burnside Lakewood, and the base game hood latches and they all work perfectly fine, just the Bruckell Ibex doesn't work. other than that this mod is a 100/10 for me.

      I'll look into it and see if I can't come up with a fix.

    Loving the mod but one issue I have is the headlights are not there for me. Is this a mod conflict or an issue with the mod?

      Author's Response
      This has to be a conflict, but I have no idea what-with. If you have any old version of the mod, it may be conflicting with itself. Try deleting it, doing a deep cache clear, and reinstalling the mod. Outside of that, I can't really help you. It works perfectly on my test PC, but I have few mods on there.

    It's not terrible. Better than what I could do.
    I think the grille with the headlight cutouts and the dip down on the bottom isn't very handsome. And the lettering would work better if you used the stuff from the LeGran since it has a more modern logo and stuff.
    Love the concept though! And the taillights.

    just gonna feed the idea out there
    the Ram T-Rex, it's basically just the 2nd gen Ram as a 6x6, i can get very close to replicating it with this mod, but 1 thing missing, the plastic to go around the rear wheels

      I'll mess with the old 6x6 D-Series mod and see if I can come up with something... don't look for it any time soon though.

    This looks even more like a Dodge Ram when you select the doors from the Burnside Lakewood that makes the b-pillar black, very nice mod!

    loving the work you're doing with this mod, absolutely love it. I just have 2 little suggestions, but do you think you could possible remodel the fenders a little bit? I'm mostly referring to the dually fenders on the dually long bed. I feel like if you could smoother it out a bit and make it look more rounder by stretching it across the side lengths of the bed, it can be differentiated from the stock D-Series dually bed.
    Alongside with possibly making rear and front fenders more squarer replicating the irl counterpart, it could make it distinctive enough to be seen as its own model rather than a obvious copy of the D-Series.
    Another thing is if you can do rebadging on the sides of the vehicle, the same way like how the D-Series has to represent a model, but labeled different. Instead of D-15, B-150 or X-150 could work, but it's just examples that I thought of, it's all up to you really on what you think is best.

      Thank you for your review.

      I don't mean to disappoint you, but I have absolutely no plans to carry this mod farther than I've mentioned in the above post. It is what it is what it is what it will be. It's really not difficult to mod BeamNG once you get the general idea. I encourage you to try your hand at making something you are passionate about become reality. Success is very rewarding, failure is rich with opportunities for improvement and growth, if you'll take them. I just don't have the time or the desire to remodel the whole exterior. If you have modding questions that " https://documentation.beamng.com/ " can't answer, feel free to PM me.
