Bock B50 1.1

The smallest production car ever, now in BeamNG

    1963-1964 Bock B50

    Lore:

Bock B50 is a three-wheeled microcar produced from 1962 to 1965 by the Bock Engineering Company on the Isle of Man. Designed as a city car, it was advertised in the 1960s as capable of seating "one adult and a shopping bag." The vehicle's only door was on its left side and equipment included a single windscreen wiper and one headlight.

At 1.3m long and 1m wide this piece of Manx engineering holds the title of the smallest car ever produced.

Even though the idea behind it was great, sadly its form factor never took off becoming a relic of the past, due to how unpractical, unsafe and underpowered it was. However it wasn't the last of Bock's models ;D

    Features and cool stuff:
    • Two body styles (Coupe and Cabrio)
    • Highly customizable engine and interior
    • This mod uses most of the 0.34 features such as detailed mirrors, halogens, animated shifter and trigger buttons
    • Simulated driver weight, simply select the body style that is compatible with driver weight and enjoy :D (all configs have no driver weight for consistency with vanilla vehicles)
    • Fun fact, this car is fully asymmetric to help with weight distribution, even the seat is not centered
    • And another fun fact, B50 and its irl counterpart do not have reverse gears, but if you want you can select a stock transmission with a reverse gear in part selector

Notes and not so cool stuff:
    • This was easily the hardest vehicle I've ever done to jbeam due to it being at the limits of what is even possible because of how lightweight it is. Sadly it also causes some side effects such as not the greatest looking collisions, but I think they are pretty close to being good with jbeam that simple.
    • I have some content planned in the future for it, along with promised dirtbike engine, I just want to take my time with it since Im currently working on a Trident based car and i want to make sure all tuning parts will fit both of them. So stay tuned :D

A great mod, but I would like to note that this car uses and outdated system for simplified traffic and that causes it to be almost half of the cars on the road when simple traffic is enabled

This car mod is not only cool because it's a small car that drives, but it's also with strong optimization and even weak computers will run this mod.

Car size =/= file size, it takes exactly the same amount of work and materials to make this as any other car mod.
