The Barnone Genesis 1500 ECU

The technical marvel that is the Barnone Genesis 1500 ECU is what I consider the most advanced ECU to date. It seamlessly blends complex functionality with intuitive usability, creating a product that is both sophisticated and easy to use. Designed to push the platform into the future, the ECU encompasses a range of groundbreaking features:

• Complete Control Over Tuning: The Barnone Genesis 1500 allows precise adjustments to maximize performance, enabling unparalleled customization for every user. It contains five meticulously designed tunes:

• One for my custom twin-turbo setup.
• One for my custom 62mm top-mount setup.
• One for my custom 78mm setup.
• One for the stock turbo.
• One for the ttSport turbo.

Each tune is built completely from the ground up with not only performance in mind but also drivability, ensuring an unmatched balance of power and smooth operation.

• Exhaust Burples: Innovatively engineered to provide dynamic exhaust notes, adding both aesthetic and auditory appeal to your drive.
• Fuel Type Management: Flexibility to optimize performance based on the fuel type in use, ensuring adaptability and efficiency. An E85 tune is available for the car, but to utilize it, make sure you have equipped the E85 tank for optimal performance and compatibility.
• Turbo Cooling: Advanced turbo cooling management guarantees optimal performance under all conditions, safeguarding reliability and endurance.

Exhaust System

The exhaust system of the ETK800 Daredevil package is not merely a component; it is a statement. Crafted with precision, it delivers both exceptional performance and a sensory experience unlike any other:

• Acoustic Engineering: Every detail of the exhaust system has been fine-tuned to create a harmonious balance of aggression and refinement. The exhaust note evolves dynamically, offering a growl that commands attention yet remains composed when desired.
• Performance-Driven Design: Optimized for efficiency, the exhaust system enhances airflow and reduces backpressure, allowing the engine to breathe freely and deliver maximum power.
• Options: The system includes a total of five exhaust systems: two for the twin-turbo setup, one for the 62mm turbo, one for the 78mm turbo, and a 3-inch exhaust for the stock turbo setups. Whether it’s a quiet cruise or a thunderous roar, the choice is yours.
• Durability and Craftsmanship: Built from high-grade materials, the exhaust system is engineered to withstand the rigors of high-performance driving while maintaining its aesthetic appeal.​

Turbochargers

When it comes to turbochargers, the ETK800 Daredevil package doesn’t just deliver—it dominates. I’ve meticulously crafted three distinct turbo setups, each designed to cater to specific driving styles and performance needs:

• Custom 60mm Twin Turbo Setup: This is the crown jewel of the lineup, delivering what I believe to be the best overall powerband. This setup also offers intake options to suit your needs: twin intakes that remain within the engine bay or front-mount intakes routed to the car's grille. While both options provide performance gains, the front-mount intake has demonstrated the most significant benefits, ensuring optimal airflow and efficiency. By combining cutting-edge tuning with SCTE (Software Controlled Turbine Efficiency), it produces an exceptional balance of power and drivability. The result is a vehicle that’s both a beast on the track and a pleasure on the streets.



The dyno graph above showcases the raw potential of this setup at 17 PSI. With peak power of 692 bhp and torque climbing to 587 lb-ft, the 60mm twin turbo delivers a thrilling driving experience with a broad, usable power curve. From low-end grunt to high-end thrills, this setup redefines versatility.

• Custom 62mm Turbo: Engineered for those seeking a more focused performance experience, this setup provides razor-sharp throttle response and explosive midrange power. Intake options for this setup are currently in development, ensuring future versatility and enhanced performance.

The dyno graph showcases this turbo achieving an incredible 731 bhp and 637 lb-ft of torque at 17 PSI. This setup is the ultimate choice for high-speed runs and track domination, providing an electrifying rush that pushes the boundaries of performance.

The Engine

The heart of the ETK800 Daredevil package is its astonishing 3.0L inline-six engine, known as the BNi6hoe (Barnone Inline 6 High Output Engine). This powerhouse is a true marvel of engineering, designed to dominate the limits of performance. Built to handle excessive amounts of power with unwavering confidence, this engine was crafted for those who demand perfection. It is a bold testament to the philosophy that perfection is not a destination, but a relentless pursuit. Transmissions

The ETK800 Daredevil package includes three meticulously engineered transmissions designed to complement the Genesis TCU and deliver unparalleled driving experiences:
• BN8HP52 Automatic (8-speed): This transmission features longer gears, prioritizing fuel efficiency and smooth performance for road-focused driving. It is the ideal choice for those who want the perfect balance of performance and economy.
• BN8HP60 Automatic (8-speed): Engineered with tighter gear ratios, this transmission is optimized for straight-line performance, delivering quicker acceleration and unmatched responsiveness. It brings the thrill of racing to your fingertips.

*EASTER EGG*​

If you use the stage 1 Torque Converter you can preload the trans by holding the brake and giving it full throttle. This will allow the car to stall on the converter and launch. Keep in mind, its only effective under 650tq. If you’re over that tq number you will have to pair it with the 2-Step in order to hold the car!​

Both automatic transmissions share a 2.81 final drive ratio through a Race Limited Slip Differential, ensuring consistent power delivery and improved handling.

• BN9UFS DCT (9-speed): The pinnacle of transmission engineering, this 9-speed dual-clutch transmission has been meticulously crafted to deliver the fastest and most aggressive shifts possible. Built from the foundation of the BN8HP60, it adds an additional gear to push performance to the absolute limit. This transmission is introduced as an upgrade, as none of our dealer cars—Janus (Twin Turbo), Stratos (62mm), or Hyperion (78mm)—come equipped with it from the factory.​

Drive Modes
The ETK800 Daredevil package introduces a custom drive mode system designed to elevate your driving pleasure. This system features four distinct modes:

• Comfort+: Engineered for a refined and relaxed driving experience, Comfort+ keeps the exhaust valve 68% closed, significantly reducing the exhaust tone for a quieter ride. Boost pressure is lowered from 17 PSI to 11.5 PSI, creating a more subdued and controlled power delivery.
• Street: Unlock the full potential of the ETK800 with Street mode. The exhaust valve is fully opened, and boost pressure returns to 17 PSI, delivering an exhilarating and dynamic driving experience.
• Street+: Need a little extra punch? Street+ increases boost pressure from 17 PSI to 20.5 PSI, providing additional power for spirited driving while maintaining control and precision.
• Drag: For those who crave maximum performance, Drag mode adds a total of 7 PSI of boost, raising it from 17 PSI to an astonishing 24.5 PSI. This mode is engineered to deliver unparalleled acceleration and speed but should only be used on a prepped surface or in environments with sufficient room for correction.​

Radiator
The BNP Ultra Performance Radiator of the ETK800 Daredevil package has been designed from the ground up to redefine cooling performance. By keeping the car roughly 10 degrees cooler at idle, it ensures optimal operating temperatures even before the engine is under load. The true innovation shines at wide-open throttle (WOT), where the car faces its most demanding conditions. With redesigned fins that trap cool air and expel hot air efficiently, the radiator achieves minimal temperature differences under full load. This cutting-edge system allows the engine to run temperatures at WOT that are remarkably close to
